Biden’s external actions changed to more accurately represent his lifelong IQ. He’s simply a dumb*ss. And should have always been treated as such. Oh, forgot, as a Democrat, there are so many dumb*sses to chose from.

But to your point, and from a brass-knuckles perspective, this duo in the executive branch are actually preferable to the options:
Sanders had 1,119 delegates. Does anyone think we'd be better off with this aging but cognitive socialist in charge?
Warren had 53 delegates. This fraud with fangs would be pushing for greater fundamental destruction of America.
Bloomberg had 46 delegates. He'd be the photo negative of Trump-whiny, gun-grabbing, globalist, ugly. And he has all his marbles (sort of).
Buttigeig had 15 delegates. He would last 8 years and likely be a teflon media darling.
Klobuchar had 5 delegates - Sen Comb-as-a-fork would be mean and nasty and take that out on milquetoast Repubs.
Gabbard had 2 delegates and might have been preferable to Bidet, but was an impossibility in the current Dem environment.
