University experiences second Zoom-bombing incident during Black History Month....(IP addresses of attackers based in foreign countries)

The event, “When Black Athletes Protest,” was subjected to racist audio and video... guests and panelists were subjected to “a song featuring violent, racial slurs; a video depicting graphic self-harm; and audio of an explicit sexual nature.”

Like the first attack, university police are investigating the incident. They are working with the Pa. State Police and FBI...

IATS was able to trace the IP addresses of the attackers, that were found to be based in foreign countries.

In response to the attack, university administration will be reviewing security and policies of all virtual events.

A Feb. 13 Poetry and Sip highlighting Black poets was targeted with a Zoom bombing that also utilized racist audio and imagery.

In response to that attack, Behre hosted a community forum to discuss the attack and how the university can support its students of color.

The university is asking witnesses of the event to reach out if they are in need of resources .

Regardless of any proof and/or specifics, white supremacists will end up getting blamed. More than likely the culprits aren't even white, but even if it were w.s in a foreign country, normal gun loving, law respecting white people in this country will be given attention, blame, and punishment for these acts in the press and in congress.

Which is what the desired Chinese and/or Russian result was to begin with.

My comment is off topic, but does pertain to Black History Month.

An add we watched on TV last night promoting Black History used Hank Johnson and VP Harris as examples.

I thought it was hilarious, as Hank Johnson is the clown that tried to convince a general that Guam would tip over and Harris for sure is illegitimate as a VP and most likely more Indian than black. MLK was not in the promo, probably because he was Republican, was not stupid and did not believe in violence.

Does it really matter who gets blamed? The underlying motive is to further create chaos...Universities are easy targets as the kids are emotional basket cases over the slightest ripple in their daily routines...if they actually have them. Foreign entities know they can get the kids riled up.

Yes. If you're a master of the long game, you can quietly wave a little cash to get tools to set pieces in place for you. Some tools are so toolish that you don't even need to pay them. Plenty of blacks have no idea how racist the chinese are and think they are merely showing solidarity with "sticking it to the man".

It’s very simple to make it appear your IP is in a foreign country: use a VPN. Hell, a VPN with a TOR endpoint would be virtually untraceable.

I really don't pay much attention to Black ‘History’ month....there's nothing I want to see I'm not already aware of and the rest is propaganda used to continue to keep blacks in bondage to being victims rather than overcoming the dark side of their History....it ‘pays’ to remain a victim.....it takes work to be a survivor.
