I was in grade school when I first read it too and I never forgot it. Somehow, I doubt it’s still required reading.

They fight educating kids. Why not determine what the children need that don’t qualify for the advanced program and TEACH.

I would think there would be all kinds of methods for inpired learning that address problems the less academic have.

I know, they don’t care. Education has become some kind of government jobs program for an increasing population of insipid adults.

Make sure y’all put all the special ed kids in the advanced classes, as that will clearly level the playing field for them.

The issue goes well beyond genetic race. Things like fetal drug syndrome, lack of a father, and social customs which do not emphasize learning play a huge role as well, and contribute more to the IQ differences on average than does race specifically.
