Seven years ago today, Russia violated international law, the norms by which modern countries engage one another, and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its neighbor Ukraine when it invaded Crimea.
The United States continues to stand with Ukraine and its allies and partners today, as it has from the beginning of this conflict. On this somber anniversary, we reaffirm a simple truth: Crimea is Ukraine.
The United States does not and will never recognize Russia’s purported annexation of the peninsula, and we will stand with Ukraine against Russia’s aggressive acts. We will continue to work to hold Russia accountable for its abuses and aggression in Ukraine. We will also continue to honor the courage and hope of the Revolution of Dignity, in which the Ukrainian people faced down sniper fire and enforcers in riot gear on the Maidan and demanded a new beginning for their country. The United States still believes in the promise of Ukraine and we support all those working towards a peaceful, democratic, and prosperous future for their country.

In 2014, as Joe Biden began his trips to Ukraine, his son Hunter Biden took a position on the board of the country’s largest private gas company, Burisma. He was reportedly paid up to $50,000 a month.
Crimea was traded to Russia by the Ottoman Empire as part of the treaty provisions and annexed in 1783. ... This republic was dissolved in 1945, and the Crimea became an oblast first of the Russian SSR (1945–1954) and then the Ukrainian SSR (1954–1991).

It’s worth noting that the Crimea was Russian for centuries. Then in 1954 the Soviet leadership arbitrarily transferred the Crimea from the Russian “republic” to the Ukrainian “republic”. The Crimean population had no say in the matter.
Make of that what you will.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine was ALL made possible by Joe Bama Biden’s pal the Russian owned stooge former president Poroshenko who did as he was told, and fired a prosecutor for looking into the Russian mobster owned Burisma (with Romney’s campaign manager on the BOD with Hunter Biden. He’s still there- Cofer Black). Obamaumao WANTED to help Russia invade the Ukraine- he was rewarded for it by Putin et al. And... btw the Ukrainians are STILL trying to get the Russians out of Eastern Ukraine. Unable to get them out of the Crimea which Stalinist obamaumao did as ordered- the mack daddy diddling tail pirate Beta “fe-—male” occupant.
Poroshenko kept the Russian oligarch criminal who owned Burisma well supplied with funds and ripped off the Ukraine for him. Poroshenko photographed with: John McCain,Amy Klobuchar, Amb. (fired by Trump later) Voyanovych, Lindsey Graham and a group of Ukrainian/Russian special forces. Photos all over the net— with no explanation. Why were we not demanding Poroshenko leave? Because Biden was giving the a@@hole MONEY... billions which made it to his buddies and was kicked back through the Ambassador to Non Govt. Orgs partnered with dems in the US— they kicked back some 20% of USAID funds designated to select Orgs. by the a@@hole Ambssadrix (who LIED out the wazoo at the FIRST Trump “peachement” farce right alongside Mike Pences nat sec “advisor” from the NSC pals with Vindmann).

Let’s bring this right up to date— it was LIZ CHENEY who said that Vindmann was decorated WAR HERO— the crappy little worm NSC spy who revealed the PHONE CALL Trump made with the REFORM new President of Ukraine. The little bastard worm, proudly in the public forum— bragged to the Congress that he was offered the DEFENSE Minister of Ukraine by .... Poroshenko. And LIZ Warmonger Arms Sales/Daddy’s little killer Cheney— called this SLIME SCUM Lt. Col NSC spy a “decorated war hero” for a.... Purple Heart from a small frag from an IED (while several others on the vehicle were blown away— oh yeah— war hero).

For historical context, the Crimea had been Russian since the 1780s. It only became ‘Ukrainian’ when Khrushchev ceded the peninsula from the RSFSR to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954. Since both were a part of the USSR it was not really a big deal.
Not saying Putin was right to take it back from a now independent Ukraine, but it’s understandable, especially since Russia’s Black Sea Fleet was based there and the majority of people living there are Russian.

I looked it up. At the time of the 1954 Russia to Ukraine land transfer, the Crimean population was mainly Russian. The Ukrainians were a relatively small minority. So you gotta wonder how fair and just that transfer was.
I would’ve done the same if in Putin’s shoes.

Ukraine has been thoroughly corrupt from the beginning of its modern independence. The biden crime family has been and is part and parcel of its corruption!!!!
