I have been critical of some of the things the NRA has done.

Today is the day to say, “Good job NRA.”

This proves their value.

I may have to consider sending them a donation.

$150,000 is nothing compared to the payouts for all of the racial and job discrimination lawsuits against L.A. for decades. Probably in the billions. You gotta hurt em where it counts. The pocketbook.

6 figures won’t even cover legal expenses. If the NRA keeps getting tied up in these lawsuits, they will be broke. Which may be the plan...

Harassment by lawfare should have serious consequences for those who engage in it.

The problem here is the only people who pay this are the taxpayers. Would love to see these asshats get sued personally.

Neither Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti (D.) nor councilmember Mitch O’Farrell (D.), who sponsored the ordinance, responded to requests for comment.

Is it possible to sue the individuals also, to make the punishment real?

"Federal district court judge Stephen Wilson struck down a city ordinance aimed at punishing prospective contractors with ties to the NRA as an infringement on the right to free speech and association."

While the judge did the right thing, a problem with the judge’s pro-2nd Amendment (2A) decision is this. Taxpayers, not pro-gun control liberals, will probably pay the settlement imo.

The problem is that corrupt, Democratic-controlled Congress is not exercising its state-given 14th Amendment powers to make penal laws that discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections like 2A.

Excerpted from the 14th Amendment:

So anti-2A state government liberals are predictably going to keep making gun control laws because they can expect activist judges to not only give them a free pass every once in awhile, but taxpayers probably pay any settlement anyway imo.

Insights welcome.
