Nikki Haley was once a darling of the Republican Party, if not conservative movement. Now, she stands isolated after an attempt to distance herself from former President Donald Trump.
In fact, the Conservative Political Action Conference opens Thursday and will not feature Haley, the former ambassador to the U.N. and South Carolina governor.

I won’t spend that much time gloating over Nikki’s comeuppance. It’s still a very long time between now and the end of 2022. A lot can happen. At least that’s what she’s probably hoping.

She and Bolton pursued the wrong enemies in foreign policy, but she would have survived that and gone on to better things if she hadn’t undercut Trump on fraud and what happened at the Capitol.
She’ll be a convenient replacement for Michael Steele on MSNBC. She and Nicolle Wallace can have giddy coffee klatches during Nicolle’s show.
Kristi Noem was excellent last year at CPAC , and the only governor in America NOT to lockdown her state. Of course, she’s not perfect with her friendship with that asshole Never Trumper Thune who voted to impeach PDJT.
She can file as a Democrat. She has no future in the conservative movement.
Or she can open a curry restaurant.
