HARRISBURG (KDKA) – After a five-hour marathon session Wednesday night, the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee came to no resolution about censuring U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey for his impeachment vote to convict former President Trump.
The issue is not over yet.
Sources tell KDKA that many had a hard time logging into the Zoom call. When the state chair switched everyone to a different Zoom account, they lost the ability to count votes automatically.
Nonetheless, the Republican leaders did debate censuring Toomey.
Toomey did speak, but sources say he didn’t offer a reason for his vote, focusing instead on how much he supported the Trump agenda in Congress.
After hours of debate, GOP leaders voted to delay final action. Another meeting is expected in the next week or so. There was substantial sentiment against censure.

Throw the PA GOP State Bums out.
Before that terrible 17th amendment did the State Legislatures have the power to remove any backstabbing Senators?
"When the state chair switched everyone to a different Zoom account, they lost the ability to count votes automatically."
What is it with PA's inability to count votes properly?
Florida seems to fare (fair) the best.
I LOVE living in the FREE STATE OF FLORIDA
Funny, isn't it, that he presented plenty of reasons for his vote in his form letter reply to my email that I received yesterday, and he barely mentioned Trump's accomplishments or his support for Trump.
It was a steaming pile of regurgitated establishment lies that we have all heard over and over again.
He was fine delivering those lies to his constituents, but he didn't have the balls to share them with his fellow party apparatchiks.
Toomey said:
"In a 70 minute speech (Trump) repeated notoriously false charges that a great victory was stolen from him and urged the unruly mob to march to the Capitol to "Stop the Steal".
"No one should be surprised by what followed. Massively outnumbered, the Capitol Police were overwhelmed and the mob stormed and vandalized the Capitol. Amidst the ensuing riot, several people died. Officers were pummeled, pushed down stairs, and assaulted with bear and pepper spray. Over 125 sustained physical injuries ranging from concussions and swollen limbs to cracked ribs and smashed spinal discs."
" Even after the dust had settled, President Trump unthinkably condoned the rioters' actions: 'These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. '"

We all need to express our opinion to the Republican Party of Pennsylvania. Those of us living here want a Censure. It’s the very least they can do.
ROFL
again, and this I better coppy and save because it is always needed when the GOP puts out a carrot.
DOA = GIOP GOPe
It is beyobd disgusting to see the PA GOPee continue with the pretense that they ever gave a schitt about conservative purity and our liberty given the craven and criminal way they couldn’t be bothered to lift a finger when the electoral crisis of 2020 was upon us. Eff the PA GOPee! GOPee Delenda Est!
He was fine delivering those lies to his constituents, but he didn’t have the balls to share them with his fellow party apparatchiks.

Dang, I got the same thing. It didn’t read like a boilerplate response. However, since it obviously is, I infer he got quite a few ‘messages’ from the electorate.
Yup.
Me too!
