A viral petition urging some of the country's biggest retail chains to stop selling MyPillow products has gained more than 90,000 signatures.
The change.org petition demanding businesses such as Walmart and Amazon remove items from Mike Lindell's company from sale was created in mid-January after he was photographed holding a note before a meeting with then-president Donald Trump which appeared to show him advocating for martial law being imposed.
The meeting took place in the wake of the deadly attack at the Capitol on January 6 in which far-right extremists and Trump supporters attempted to overthrow the government in support of the baseless claim of widespread election fraud, which Lindell repeatedly backed.
"Today 01/15/2021 the MyPillow founder met with President Trump and suggested instituting martial law after the twice impeached president staged a coup," the petition states. "Time to tell our major retailers to stop selling his products. We will not support funding insurrectionists!"
The petition also urges Bed Bath & Beyond and Costco to cut ties with MyPillow due to Lindell's views. However, since the petition was launched Bed Bath & Beyond announced they have removed MyPillow products from its stores due to lack of demand rather, than the behavior of its CEO.
"We have been rationalizing our assortment to discontinue a number of underperforming items and brands. This includes the MyPillow product line. Our decisions are data-driven, customer-inspired and are delivering substantial growth in our key destination categories," a spokesperson previously said.
A small number of MyPillow products are currently available on Bed Bath & Beyond's website in a clearance sale.
Costco also said it plans to continue selling MyPillow products because it has a "contractual commitments to MyPillow that we intend to honor, as we seek to do with all of our suppliers."

“The sheets are amazing.”
How do they fit? Are they adjustable beyond flimsy elastic?
I’d like to order some but I’m afraid they’ll fit like all the other sheets do now. It’s impossible to find sheets that we like. They’re all made to fit the monster thick mattresses, so when we put them on a normal mattress they’re all loose and wrinkly — like a flop house. I’m hanging on to my last set from the ‘90s that are taut and smooth.

I detested the constant barrage of ads from MyPillow and swore I would never buy one...After the retail cancellations I have purchased four and 4 pillow cases... next out I am ordering towels... I have received messages that they ARE BEHIND IN FILLING ORDERS...
90,000 are going to determine what their millions of customers can and cannot buy?
The sheets feel like satin, but are cotton. I dunno about fit. I would say a bit loose.
I wonder if any of the CEOs and/or “sales bean counters” at the companies targeted by these Mike haters will take a look at their sales of his pillows and sheets to see how dropping him will affect their total sales and profit?
He’s white, he’s Christian, he’s beaten drug addiction and he’s a self-made business owner. What’s NOT to hate (for a leftist)?
My edit:
Modern fascist liberal: I do not like YOU; even if your product is OK no one must be allowed buy it.
It's not the product, it's Mike they don't approve of!

Much better!
