Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that the Constitution did not allow seizing personal papers unless there was ‘probable cause’ that there was a crime committed, not seize the papers then look for a crime........................

You are correct.

This IS completely unconstitutional.

But I guess we know now that even the Supreme Court doesn't grasp that.

But since orange man bad, the Constitution is just a dusty old piece of paper.
