Not when I’ve used it for years and this problem hasn’t manifested. It’s just gotten progressively worse the past 2-3 months. Many posts work fine.

Given that I’ve done some version of software, off and on, for about 40 years, I’m used to mouse-clicking, hehe. Especially since the late 1980’s.

No, I sped up the mouse for a game, about 3 years ago. Sped up, specifically, the click speed. It is on the lowest setting and has been set and rest that way for years. Driver replaced. Machine rebooted several times. Have completed deleted the driver. Then reinstalled Nothing changes. I’m guessing there’s an errant setting in the registry. It’s a Windows 8.1 machine so I thought it would be easy to find. I’m opening the reg edit again.
Woohoo, found the double-click speed. Yes it was a ridiculously high number (it appears). I hope this fixes it. Apparently modification through CP was simply not working.

Yes, it’s a problem for other things but only does this double-post thing at FR. I use the cellphone sometimes but that’s a giant pain and it’s limited data.

The good news is you inspired me to look again. Maybe I just found it.

Maybe you can just buy a new mouse. They’re very cheap at Amazon. A million to chose from. Maybe you can find one with even better features than the one you have now.
