A grieving mother is bound to say anything......
Give her a break in her suffering......her scumbag son is dead...
I understand her grief. I don’t understand her statement. It is simply absurd, and she is not the first one to act as if certain groups are above the law.
Entitlement. Self esteem.

They think that their wants and needs justify them in whatever they do and can’t imagine that there might be consequences to their actions.

Just understand that the media will use broken people to serve their means. Her irrational grief is being used, and that is evil.
The SPLC will undoubtedly issue a statement saying the armed robbery was “justified” due to white privilege and racism.
“Hand up, don’t shoot” defense?
It wasn’t a robbery. The guy decided he’d been dissed, flipped out, and started shooting.
They knew his time was coming and they knew they couldn’t stop it. So they blame everyone else
Sure they do. They see people getting away with arson, destruction of property, shoplifting, assault on police, and attempted murder all the time without consequences. This computes to these morons that it is all the same. NO CONSEQUENCES.
We coddle these animals, and the (Republican) governor of Oklahoma releases them early, so they can go out and kill - so why should we expect the parents of these felons to behave, when our side is so screwed up?

But it is all about their unique “Cultcha”.
There was a story from Alabama I think where a man was robbing a restaurant and had a gun to a woman’s head. A customer or passerby saw what was going on and shot him dead. A few days later the dead man’s mother released a statement saying that the ‘shooter had no business shooting my son—he’s not the police’.
Notice it took a few days for the right lawyer to contact them. That’s all that happened here. They want a payout.
