A group of House and Senate Republicans is asking President Joe Biden to withdraw his nomination of California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (D) to be Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, citing his support for taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits for illegal aliens.
In a letter to Biden, 11 Senate Republicans and 64 House Republicans — led by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) — are asking Biden to rescind Becerra’s nomination to lead HHS due to his “embrace of radical policies on immigration,” among other issues.
“Mr. Becerra seeks to decriminalize illegal immigration, which would extend expensive government benefits like Medicaid to anyone who illegally crosses our borders,” the letter states.

Pregnant illegal aliens are already eligible for full coverage plus post partum coverage.
Illegal alien adults are eligible for life threatening or permanently disabling illnesses or injuries.
Almost every city has at least one hospital or clinic that will treat every disease or injury without any upfront payment, including prescriptions.
90% of American citizens have no awareness of the massive scale of the USA welfare state.
Why pay taxes anymore? Grrrrr
We know a family that recently lost their family home due to their inability to pay the property taxes on it.
NYS cost shares its Medicaid costs with its counties.
Property taxes in this state are ruinous.
If illegals become eligible for Medicaid, God help NYS property owners.
When illegals get better than what most Americans CITIZENS get.......
I'm feeling the same about buying American. Why go through the effort if this is what it's going to pay for?
Not that I'm giving up, but I'll buy from red states or US allies to the best of my ability now.
They’re already going to get welfare, free rent, and an obamaphone for which the dems are going to train them to hate Whitey who is paying for it.
Becerra is a dangerous Latino Communist.
We really need to establish our own economy.
And reduce our tax exposure to Deep State as much as possible.
