After the Chinese regime recently revealed the number of casualties from the Sino-Indian border clash that occurred last year, several Chinese netizens were detained for questioning and criticizing the official data.

On Feb. 19, the CCP for the first time disclosed information on Chinese soldier deaths from the border conflict with India which took place in the Galwan Valley, in the eastern Ladakh border region in June 2020.

Four deaths were mentioned, including battalion commander Chen Hongjun, and three soldiers named Chen Xiangrong, Xiao Siyuan, and Wang Zhuoran. The information also disclosed one substantial injury sustained by regimental commander Qi Fabao.

However, Chinee netizens were skeptical over the official data and several netizens were recently arrested for voicing dissent and expressing opinions that authorities regarded as “insulting and slandering border heroes.”

An internet influencer surnamed Qiu, also known as “La Bi Xiao Qiu” with more than 2.5 million followers on Chinese social media platform Weibo, was detained by local police on Feb. 19. He was allegedly charged for “picking quarrels and provoking trouble” and for “illegal speech that maliciously distorted the truth and slandered border heroes,” according to a notice issued by the Nanjing Public Security Bureau on Feb. 20.

On Feb. 21, a netizen surnamed Yang was given a 7-day administrative detention for posting a comment that “slandered border heroes” on Weibo, according to Beijing’s mouthpiece People’s Daily. He was charged for “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” Yang is from Mianyang city of Sichuan Province.

The next day, a netizen surnamed Tian from Maoming city of southern Guangdong Province was placed under criminal detention. He was allegedly accused of “insulting and slandering border heroes” and delivering remarks against “heroic soldiers” in a WeChat group, according to a notice issued by the local Binhai New District Public Security Bureau.

Last year, following the Sino-Indian border clash, a photo of late soldier Chen Xiangrong’s tombstone surfaced online. The image was reposted on the official Weibo account of “China Chang’an Net,” which represents the CCP’s Political and Legal Affairs Committee. But the post was immediately removed.

Jun Wu Ji, a well-known military blogger with more than 4.8 million followers, claimed that Chen’s tombstone image was fake. On Sept. 20, 2020, he wrote in a post: “The public should not disseminate the misinformation in case they are taken advantage of.”

However, the photo of Chen’s tombstone has now been confirmed as authentic by state-run Chinese media.

According to a report by Russian news agency TASS, at least 45 Chinese soldiers died in the border skirmish with Indian forces in May and June 2020, while the Indian side lost at least 20 soldiers. This means that China lost more than twice the number of soldiers the Indians lost.

I’ve been following this as well. The Chinese just don’t have high-altitude troops like the Indians do. They’re lucky it hasn’t turned into an all out war, because Indian might be outclassed by the Chinese, but they have the will that China doesn’t.

Why is this called Sino/India clash and not China/India?

Why Latin for China and not India?

Yndia could have a ring to it.

Does the CCP know they are called Sino?

Why do their products not say Made In Sino?

Or Hencho Sino?

RE: Does the CCP know they are called Sino?

Absolutely,

The company that developed one coronavirus vaccine called Coronavac is named Sinovac Biotech.

They also have two other companies developing Coronavirus vaccines.

One is named SINOPHARM and the other named CANSINO BIOLOGICS.

The CCP is doing it wrong. They can avoid taking blame from their citizens and save money by letting Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram punish their wrong thinkers. They also need some Anifa for street justice.

Once again America leads the way forward to a Brave New World!

Is administered by the local cops and security troops - beating a protestor to death is not uncommon. Any group like antifa could never be formed - someone would snitch, and if it was and showed up at or created a protest, they would be put down with extreme prejudice. In any case, something like antifa is unthinkable to the Chinese people - they well remember Tiananmen Square and the 10,000 plus that were slaughtered.

Those vloggers are braver than it appears on the surface - they full well know that ANY criticism, no matter how innocent, will be dealt with by the police. They knew that sooner or later they would be caught up with, detained, questioned, maybe beaten or jailed or disappeared; all of which are common for people who criticize the CCP in any regard or slight.
