The campaign by critics of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s bid to hide nursing home COVID-19 deaths as he basked in media praise for his virus efforts is kicking into a higher gear today with a new video call for him to go.
The conservative Washington-based Committee to Unleash Prosperity is posting a video detailing the alleged failures of Cuomo’s virus efforts juxtaposed with his bragging book and Emmy for holding daily coronavirus briefings.
“Andrew Cuomo claims he protected nursing homes. It didn't work. Cuomo lied,” said the video shown to Secrets. “Seniors died in darkness while Cuomo took the spotlight,” it said, adding, “Cuomo lied. Seniors died.”
Committee member Phil Kerpen, also the president of American Commitment, a policy think tank, has been doggedly following the virus statistics and said Cuomo deserves special criticism.
“Governor Cuomo forced highly infectious patients into nursing homes despite widespread warnings that doing so would cost lives and worse hospital overcrowding. He kept this disastrous policy in place for six devastating weeks, and then steadfastly refused to disclose the real number of long-term care resident deaths in the state, hiding behind a ‘place of death’ number that was a fraction of the real number and inconsistent with reporting from every other state,” said Kerpen.

He didn’t just send patients back.
He allowed confirmed positive staff to continue reporting to work until he changed the policy in mid-May.
But nobody ever mentions that for some reason.
It is unfortunate that New Yorkers have to deal with this fellow as their governor, but they elected him. As pressure mounts on him, his nature will become more apparent to many. I think that as high profile as he is, the more he is exposed as a slimeball the better. Biden called him the gold standard for leadership. Let folks know what the Dems think is golden leadership.
If he had any shame or a sense of morality he would resign. Therefore, he will not be resigning.
Stop! He’s a Dem, he isn’t going anywhere.
It’s good for the people in NY to get what they voted for.

Never happen, his Dem Senate voted unanimously to allow him to keep his Covid special authority.
The only way this hurts him if a qualified Dem steps up to primary him for Governor next time.
So, what did Cuomo do to forfeit the favor of the Left and get cast under the wheels? After all, mass murder of the elderly doesn’t mean much to Democrats.
Or do they plan on bringing him back for rehabilitation?

Amazed at how quickly many of his fellow Dems SEEM to have turned on him. Still unsure why they would all be having a simultaneous epiphany, but ...whatever.

Unfortunate that many of my conservative family members and friends didnt vote for this tyrant but got stuck with him from fellow moron NYers. Now who knows how much election fraud played a part?
