The church of climate change is a religion that is impervious to facts.
At this point the argument can not be won anywhere it matters, when literally every weather event is caused by man-made climate change. Warming, cooling, more storms, fewer storms, rain, drought...it doesn’t matter.
Climate change has become their god.
I have been following the solar scientists for nearly 2 decades now. They accurately predicted this would be the coldest winter since the mini ice age. We are in a very deep solar minimum. Expect cold winters for the next several years.
Do we dare hope state legislators—afraid of legislating against common sense and losing their jobs—will stop this nonsense via state regs. Their constituents are not blind. Texas has demonstrated clearly that solar & wind are not reliable when needed most.
The GND took a hit across a wide swath of voters, imho. If my AZ senators (Ds) support any aspect of the GND, I will ask if they’re frkn’ blind, or just stupid.
I saw—but did not save—a weather map showing a warm February in the heartlands of TX and north. I’d pay to demonstrate the idiocy and fraud of “science” as it pertains to weather prediction.

While it sounds like our side jokingly bragging “I told you so”, it is NOT FUNNY, because far too many people believe that crap and then play-down the cold weather risk. I’m positive it was a factor, maybe a BIG FACTOR, in why they didn’t winterize. Far too many people actually believe this crap.
That’s why this attempt at back-door Socialism is so dangerous, people do stupid things, like think the days of cold weather are over.
The Governor appoints liberal Democrats to the Public Utility Commission and they build and maintain an infrastructure with ERCOT and that caused all power generating systems to fail.
Until last week, here in Texas, we had skipped out on winter. I did not get my heavy winter coat out until Feb 14. Granted, when winter came to Texas it really came to Texas. As I watched the weather forcasts on TV, it seemed like this was the combination of an Artic air mass and the jet stream in a way that rarely occurs. How can that be predicted?
As far a liberals are concerned, scientific facts like X and Y chromosomes, DNA of a unborn child is different from its mother, Evolution would require DNA changes that have never been documented ... these are the real inconvenient truths.
Now there is a colossal waste of money!
But in sub-frigid temps, “low-income people of color” are dying, not b/c of lack of green energy, but from carbon monoxide poisoning because:
<><> a green energy grid with windmills that don’t turn,
<><> solar panels that don’t work under snow,
<><> and battery power which holds a charge in freezing temperatures just as your phone does (cackle).
We have had worse storms and winter weather than this in the past decade with minimal loss of power. The Federal government apparently oversees how much power Texas is permitted to generate. After Gov. Abbott declared a state of emergency, I think before the storm hit, Pres. Biden’s administration refused his request to increase power production to meet the expected need. That was the cause of people being without power. The freezing of the environmentally disastrous windmills was greatly magnified because the power generating facilities that were still working were not permitted to increase to their capacity. It was deliberate.
Just imagine how cold it would have been last week without all that global warming.
Nature is a mother.
This is why the Globull Warming NAZIs changed the phrase to “Globull Climate Change.”
That way, whether the weather is unusually hot or unusually cold, it can always be blamed on greenhouse gas emissions.
When you change folk’s expectations...
1st, this has actually been a cooler winter than last year. I just got my electric bill which in the winter is primarily heating. Both January and February usage were higher this year than last year.
2nd, my point is that the solar scientists did predict it.They have been predicting it for 10 years. We are in the deepest solar minimum since the 18th century. Expect more of it for the next couple of years at least until significant sun spots start showing up again.
