The Uyghurs are simply the example the Dems want to employ against conservatives.
How do American Moslems feel about China’s treatment of the Uyghurs? Will they cut Biden some slack over that?
Sure it a big deal how the CCP mandates the treatment of the Uyghurs, but there is little difference (outside of the publicity) between the Uyghurs and how the CCP treats the many other other minorities - as well as their own Han Chinese. (Its just that any publicity is tightly controlled and suppressed, including disappearing anyone showing or talking about internal brutality). Whatever suffering the Uyghurs are receiving, so does the rest of the population who would dare step even one little toe out of line. There are no appeals, no law beyond what the CCP says it is at any given moment, and so there is no stability; this is reflected in the mass fleeing of foreigners in the last few years.
Forget about universal inalienable human rights.

China should simply send them to the Muslim country of their choice. No need to imprison, enslave, torture or kill them.
Asterisk cannot object or resist Chinese Communist Party racist oppression or their imperialistic drive for worldwide hegemony.
