I can’t say I care or understand the confederate statue thing much

States rights. Before "the war" the states were superior or at least equal to the federal. After, the opposite. But what really sealed the federal power take over was the 17th amendment.

To me, CSA symbols remind us of a time when the states had more control and authority to govern than the federal which is how it was designed to be. State-ist hate those symbols.

Destroying history has a long history. Been done a lot. They think they have conquered us so they are entitled to do this.

Sadly, a lot of these memorials have lost their meaning through time. We will put up new memorials after we win the current war. Those are the ones we should be thinking about.

I don think that matters.

Their motivation is like the Arabs in Gaza, the Romans destroying the Temple, and the like.

They want to destroy you as a people and pretend you never existed.
