Having murdered two people and wounded a couple of others, it is clear that the attacker intended to kill as many people as possible. The quick response by people with concealed handgun permits stopped the attack.

I am a conspiracy theorist. I believe this was an attempt at “have a national discussion on gun safety” by shooting up a bunch of “yeehaws” at a range. Bad target choice. Keep your head on a swivel.

The snippits sound like he thought he could walk in with a gun in hand and rock the range. The RSO told him to hit the street if he can’t follow the rules and Josh had to deal with that “racism” by shooting everyone around him.
Possibly. Take an easily directed person of low intelligence, tell him the to go shoot up a range and then scoot out to the getaway car. Of course, there is no getaway car so the shooter is silenced. Then scream about a mass shooting due to the presence of guns. That’s what the deep state would do.
