The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday paved the way for a New York City prosecutor to obtain former President Donald Trump's tax returns and other financial records as part of a criminal investigation, a blow to his quest to conceal details of his finances.

The justices rebuffed Trump's request to put on hold an October 7 lower court ruling directing the former Republican president's longtime accounting firm, Mazars USA, to comply with a subpoena to turn over the materials to a grand jury convened by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, a Democrat.

The ruling does not make Trump's tax records public.

His tax records will promptly be leaked. Everyone knows that, including the cowards on the Supreme Court.

The Crucifixion of Citizen Trump proceeds apace.

To Hell with the kids and opening schools.

We must lynch Trump. It’s for the children.

These people just won’t stop with this jihad against President Trump. They hate him so much that they allow that hate to consume them. When all the dust settles and he’s still standing, one wonders what these people will have left.

how is paying someone to keep quiet about legal happenings\actions something that can be made into law breaking? Isn’t this essentially what a non-disclosure agreement is?

Yep, the Democrats will be leaking things left and right, even if things aren't illegal, they will still make it seem like it is. We already saw this with the Russia and Ukraine BS (and pretty much everything during Trump's four years).

Poor president Trump...He is our modern day Ceasar stabbed from every which direction! I’m still waiting for God to intervene but looks like it’s a lost cause. Evil in this world wins 95% of the time! Change my mind.

Exactly why is it illegal to play up a property’s value when trying to sell it, and to downplay its value when getting taxed?

Of course you’re trying to get all you can for it. And tax assessments are always less.

Selected portions will be leaked directly to the media. That is a given. Why else would the media make the statement that Trump’s tax record would not be made public? They are rubbing it in our noses.

The records will be promptly leaked and the public, with no understanding of accounting for depreciation, will think he cheated. The blood-thirsty jackals will pound it for years.

Hush money. As I recall, $130,000. Cohen paid it to the porn whore. Took the hit, though.

You see, it is going to be right there on line 55b, where it says, “Petty cash, hush fund bribery account.”

IRS requires all illegal financial activity to be properly labeled and accounted for.

He needs appraisals for that. Also the cash flow underwritten. The lender does all that work as a third party. It show how weaponized the government and courts can be on crusades of their enemies and how utterly lenient or even to the point of ignoring REAL crime for their buddies.
