Great stuff bud and the story goes on. It will be tweaked by the best over the next few years over and over again. It's Epstein, Judge Roberts, Seth Rich all over again. Will the truth ever be revealed? Hard to say..............

Meanwhile the Doctor of Democracy the creator of such terms as driveby media and so much more, our radio host with talent on loan from God passed away last Wednesday morning after a long battle with cancer.

May of us are upset beyond words and will be suffering his loss for some time.

Limbaugh was the ultimate radio broadcaster new the medium like no one else and had become the provider of truth that everyone could understand when it came to modern US and worldwide politics.

Limbaughs take on topic after topic was usually the ultimate take and set the pathway for others in the world of conservatism. When rush explained something everyone was on board it was his mission in life. He did it well better than anyone.

Problem is the left goes one. They have to be countered. Someone has to take the torch and carry it even if they don't have the talent that Rush had. We need leadership in a complex world.

Perhaps a look at a pressing issue such as the 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus package put forth by the commie dems is appropriate to show how Rush may have explained it and how and why we need someone who will take that torch and go with it even if they are not in Rushs league. And make no mistake about it no one in current talk radio is in Rush's league.!!

Why we needed Rush and who will take his place

The info below shows just one of dozens of reasons why we needed Rush Limbaugh and still do to explain what was really going on in yet another huge spending bill by far left socialists and commies hell bent on turning the country into Cuba or worse.

Limbaugh was brilliant when it came to explaining what was really going on behind the veil of the driveby media lies. Below is a perfect example.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/14/politics/biden-economic-rescue-package-coronavirus-stimulus/index.html

It also proposes making a $35 billion investment in some state, local, tribal, and non-profit financing programs that make low-interest loans and provide venture capital to entrepreneurs. How may times has Rush explained to us how the democrat run govts. Whether state, county or city run things into the ground and than look for bailout money.

...................

Aid for states and schools

Biden wants to send $350 billion to state, local and territorial governments to keep their frontline workers employed, distribute the vaccine, increase testing, reopen schools and maintain vital services.....

This is the ultimate bailout! Rush keeps telling us to look out for states like Calif. and NY with Cuomo who spent like a sailor and now the money is gone. States that closed down business after business drying up tax revenue. A nyc mayor who destroyed the economy of NYC and now has no tax revenue!! Rush saw all this coming and warned us. Asked during a call with reporters whether states could use the funds to offset declines in tax revenue spurred by the pandemic, a senior Biden administration official did not clarify. The aid is intended to be flexible, an official told CNN later.

.....

(that means its all for bubba and his buddies,no strings anyone can get money from us to buy more votes for dems)

Biden's plan would also give $20 billion to the hardest-hit public transit agencies to help avert layoffs and the cutting of routes.-—propping up transportation systems that have been run into the ground for years and now the opportunity to have us pay for their incompetence.

...................

The plan would provide an additional $170 billion to K-12 schools, colleges and universities to help them reopen and operate safely or to facilitate remote learning. Congress approved $82 billion in aid for schools in December.-—

Schools that already get 10-20 thousand per student and throw the money away on wasteful programs and idiotic school policies, and union teachers who wont even come to work....

........................

Increased support for vaccines and testing:

The plan calls for investing $20 billion in a national vaccination program, including launching community vaccination centers around the country and mobile units in hard-to-reach areas. Biden would also increase federal support to vaccinate Medicaid enrollees.—

More duplication of programs already in force...

The proposal would also invest $50 billion in testing, providing funds to purchase rapid tests, expand lab capacity and help schools implement regular testing to support reopening.-—Testing that is so bad its almost worthless.......

It would also fund the hiring of 100,000 public health workers, nearly tripling the community health workforce. It would address health disparities by expanding community health centers and health services on tribal lands. And it would provide support to long-term care facilities experiencing outbreaks and to prisons for mitigation strategies.

Insane more govt. funded jobs that go away in no time leaving thousands with no where to go when they could have taken a private sector job,or worse yet have to be refunded by big govt. over and over..............

A $15 hourly minimum wage:

Biden is calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, and to end the tipped minimum wage and the sub-minimum wage for people with disabilities.

So the breakdown is as follows: 35 billion investment is state govt. .................... 350 billion to state local and territorial govts.—bailing out NY,Calif. Puerto Rico, the worst types of govts. run by left wing clowns who got rid of cops in favor of tearing down the system. Govts. who pissed away money they didn't have, more vote buying, favoritism to other left wingers. All things Rush has told us about over and over during the years he was on the air. ................. 20 billion to local transit—due to local govts. not maintaining their transit systems we are asked to bail them out again.... ........................ 82 billion for schools—this always looks good who is not for schools but keep in mind the teachers have not been teaching since they are unions, the schools already get local state and federal money in the amounts of 10-20 thousand or more per student per year and now they want more?......... More vote buying pacifing unions helping bankrupt govts. who ran their systems into the ground for no reason. .....................

How many times has Rush told us that govt. spending is never the answer. Giving direct payment to households who were forced not to go to work is one thing but all the rest of the 557 billion in spending is quite another.

And the above is just one small example why we needed Rush to explain what was really going on in a well hidden expenditure of govt. money which amounted to more vote buying and bailouts for failed socialist govts.

....................

A bigger question is who will take Rush's place?

Rush Limbaugh had an audience of over 20 million avid listeners. There are perhaps a dozen or so talk radio hosts who could sit in his chair. None can replace him since he was just too good.

He literally wrote the text books that all of us have used since he came on the air in 1988. How do you replace someone like that?

You don't.

What you do is get as close to a reasonable facsimile as you can.

Some of the likely are Mark Stein,Mark Levin,Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham,Chris Plante,Buck Sexton and many others.

Problem is only one has even close to the numbers that Rush had. Only one has the experience, likability, intelligence, and knowledge of Rush that would give him even a chance to get the job done:

It's Sean Hannity!

Hannity should probably be looking to buy a waterfront mansion in South Florida and talking to the EIB network about buying them out.

He is the most likely for the job even though there are others in the mix.

As I previously stated no one takes Rush's place. But, only one has close to the numbers that Rush had and that's Sean.Like it or not he is the likely broadcaster who will now be tasked with doing the most important job of conservative news broadcasters.

Sorting the lies from the lefttard driveby media, explaining what they really said, really meant, what they have in store for us and how we check their takeover of a once great country.

Like it or not we need someone to counter all the lies that will be coming from the driveby media especially now that they think the one person who saw through their veil of lies 24/7 has passed away.

Will it be Sean Hannity?

Thanks for the Rush Limbaugh tribute.

Sean can’t replace Rush—there is NO replacement for Rush.

Over the past several years I have been a Limbaugh 24/7 subscriber.

I would still watch his dittocam on Youtube because they took out all the commercials and dead air you get from the 24/7 site but I listened only to the site this past 16 months because of Youtube’s intolerable Conservative discrimination.

I would listen to Rush as soon as it got dark and my outside chores were done. I’d eat dinner to Rush, play some card games and brain teasers, etc. Due to the the audio portion of his site’s broadcast, the three hours were divided into 38 minute segments. So it only took about 2 hours of listening a day.

So, that’s over.

I can’t replace that. The next time I listen to Rush it will be up There with him.

But he not only broke the mold, he WAS the mold!

There will never be another Rush and Hannity is not the guy. He is far too corporate to take the place of Rush. There are a thousand Rushes now and that is a good thing.

My first choice would be Mark Steyn.... next Chris Plante who I listen to on WMAL in preference to Glen Beck. Plante already has a show though and Steyn doesn’t. I don’t think it makes sense to continue using the Limbaugh name - it’s unlikely any replacement host will draw the same kind of numbers.

"Will it be Sean Hannity?"

I don't think it will be Sean. Rush's biggest draw, for me, was his originality and fresh viewpoints. Hannity is far too repetitious.

I was a DIE HARD Rush fan. I put is a large satellite dish just to get his TV show. Before I retired, I taped his radio show and played every tape at night. His radio station was weak, so I put in a long wire (200 ft.) 1/4 wavelength radio antenna. When that didn't work very well, I bought three cassette reorders and timers, so I could record his shows work without having to mind them during work hours. As soon as he started his podcasts I signed on to his paid web site. I've probably heard over 90 percent of all of his radio shows since I first heard him in 1991.

Hannity will never be an adequate replacement. He rambles without thinking. You can catch 90 percent of his talking by listening to his show once a month. Rush would spend hours of each day studying for new things to use in his show, and it would be new every day. If nothing else, Hannity does too many other things to be able to spend the time.

Who will take Rush's place? Now I might be way out in right field, but I'd love to see the Red Eagle (YouTube channel) young man take over. He is a populist like Trump is. He looks to be mid 20s to early 30s.

What we need would be a Gen Z replacement. For two reasons: 1)To show the MSM that young people aren't lockstep liberals and 2)For a long radio hosting duties. Also, I think if you get a young person they can help undecided youths (people who are not interested in politics) to understand politics.

Great overall great read on the state of things this AM.

The bailout scam so obvious re rewarding the incompetent and buying loyalty.

Contrast the measured approach and results by DeSantis to the fools running NY, California, Michigan...

No contest.

Re Rush to me Levin, or a toned down Hannity.

The discerning difference with Rush is he rarely hyperventilated on any topic and as you point out just deconstructed the end game into a simple , here’s where they are really going.

Hannity can do that, but needs to change his delivery.

Levin has the delivery, but also may actually be too smart for the job , and when in attack mode may turn off some with his voice delivery.

In any case an icon, true patriot is gone but his legacy will not disappear in spite of the MSM....

..........

Related comment. Talking to more people who have come to the realization that Trump was facing a true uniparty who only cares for themselves.

We are deeming congress to be the ultimate insiders club, staged like a theater performance with assigned roles to fake supporters into believing things will actually get done.

Trump came in and slowly exposed them, so he had to go.

History will not be kind to the Dems if the real truth of the election ever gets revealed beyond the hyperbole of “ no evidence”

The corruption of Obama , treachery started by the Clintons, was fulfilled this last election cycle and our foreign enemies must be thanking the Dems for handing them a non military victory without their ever firing a shot.

The founders of our country, and the patriots who served to deliver freedom are sadly sold out by the greed of todays fake representatives....

That was a great Limbaugh tribute.

He won’t be replaced in anything or anyone resembling him. He was one of the last centralized conservative voices for broadcasting.

We’ll continue the trend toward decentralization, with streaming video and podcast audio - many different ideas and voices. Just like the long-standing trend in print.

That Rush could stay on top so clearly and so long during these blinding changes was astounding.

Freerepublic will always be here, however, making sense of them all!

Will it be Sean Hannity?

I hope not. He lacks the intellectual ability to analyze the American political scene. Hard to listen to his current radio program that depends on guests and Sean's repetitive rants. Lousy interviewer who doesn't allow people to speak and fails to listen to what they say,

Mark Levin is better, but his abrasive style won't play well with Rush listeners. Mark Steyn is better intellectually but lacks an American perspective and he appears not to do his homework when it comes to being prepared to discuss the issues.

Rush is irreplaceable.

Hannity already has a radio program, which airs immediately after Rush’s. It is too big to just liquidate in hopes of replacing Rush, whom he loves and doesn’t pretend to compare. It will be a while before the show needs to do much more than replay Rush, and include some contemporaneous talk by one or more hosts.
