When I went back to college, at the age of 50, I thought it would be unseemly for me to play volleyball with 18 year-olds like I did the first time I was in college.

When I went back to college at 26, I felt so much older than the other students, and I didn't hang out with them. Now I realize I wasn't so old then.

But, today, a 50yo man can pretend to be female and (presumably) share a locker room with female basketball players, and the media calls him heroic. Strange times.
