This got close to an EMP attack level. Probably way closer than anyone would admit. Utilities in TX are going to skyrocket no matter what. And the water threat from pipes isn’t over for a few more days.
Cuomo publicly signaled over and over that he cared about the elderly that died. It is very bizarre for you to want such a caring person to go to prison.
Texas folks will deal with this just like they do with hurricanes....every year. Either you hunker down or get out of town.

I agree. This idea that your life becomes owned by others, and you can’t even take a simple trip. Why would anyone want the headaches of this BS?It’s why we only get the phony, say anything to get power politicians we have leading both parties. Real people that make the country work, just see this and say no thanks - not going to have my life, and the lives of my family members destroyed.
My view of the US now is that it is a worthless and failed country. Let it burn and collapse. Let the people get just what they deserve to get.
Cruz should of put his family up in a Motel 6 in OK if they were cold and wind turbines are not worthless. Texas in all their wisdom never bought the winterized model.

Is leaving the area any worse than owning a generator or otherwise doing preventative things that the ‘po people can’t do?
I was without power, heat and water for 30 hours. If I had kids, I would have gone to Mexico, too...and I don’t even have the frequent flyer miles Ted has.
Its cheap, flights are cheap and the kids would have no school.
