I felt the same way as many for a while. I said he was taking care of his family and there was nothing he could do. Until I spoke with my 23 year old son who just returned from Ft Worth. He was working there all week. His boss gave him the opportunity to go work in Seattle to get away from the mess. His hotel was cold. He was eating 7-11 tacos and lunchables. He was working outside because there was pipes breaking inside the shop area.

He stayed. In fact he stayed longer and worked 2 days longer than his shift. His fellow coworkers and boss needed help. (1/2 the employees left for Seattle tho lol). At 23 he said ‘that's what a man does. You lead from the front. You don't run off’. He made me proud. I'm glad he's home again tho.

Thanks for the mention.

Sounds like you’ve got a great son there.

OK, what did you want Ted Cruz to do?
