That is a shockingly liberal philosophy. You want someone to resign because you disagree with something they did that was entirely legal and entirely moral.

That’s quite the unreasoned thought process.

I guess i could somewhat understand that if this were, say, the governor of Texas. Although there is nothing he can really do either, aside from making phone calls to get things moving on aiding the citizens of his state- which he can do from anywhere in the world...

But Ted Cruz has zero real authority in Texas to make such moves... so why does it matter that he is on vacation?

Oh but he should resign!

(shaking my head a bit on this one...)

If there is truly nothing Cruz can do then why is he coming back?

And when he does come back and starts to take action like he should have already been doing....he is going to get blasted for waiting for so long

He screwed this one up.

Now he needs a crisis team to fix it.
