I first heard Rush in August 1988. Been a steady listener ever since. I will miss him immensely. A great light in America has gone out.
Oh yeah they will be celebrating. They haven’t a modicum of decency.

I did not always agree, but Rush was a major reason fore the resurgence of a desire for Conservative government and limited government in the United States.
He will be missed.

I think a fellow Freeper said it best: Rush was the best friend I never met. I loved that guy like a brother. I swear I knew him. When the question was asked “What historical figure would you want to have dinner with?” My first answer would always be Rush Limbaugh. Hands down. Godspeed Rush. I know you are gazing speechlessly at the face of Jesus right now.
Same. Hell, I literally did not know I could even make tears anymore. Haven’t done that in so long. I thought that was long gone for me. But this is truly sad. Hearing the show begin that way was rough to hear live.

Like losing a family member. It seems like it was only yesterday that I was scanning around on AM radio looking for news of the
new air campaign against Iraq, and I stopped because a guy was saying that liberals were whining about us being mean to the enemy. That was a fast 3 decades. RIP
