... Santa Clara County saw 4,517 people fail to show up for confirmed vaccine appointments at county-run sites such as the fairgrounds from Feb. 8 to 12, according to a county spokesperson.
The county couldn't confirm why people failed to show. One theory was they made multiple appointments out of concern one would be cancelled as some vaccine sites run out of supply.
The county said they filled the spots through public messaging and social media alerting people in Phase 1A — health care workers and long-term care residents — who haven't received vaccines.

Has anyone thought to put some vaccine aside for doctor’s offices?
Lots of us would be happy to pay for a shot rather than wait in a car for two hours or be sent to some mass inoculation site..
Maybe they all died?
Several of the vaccines need special handling. Super cold refrigeration.
Most doctors offices can’t handle them properly. Newer vaccines won’t need that and will be available for wider distribution.
Why don’t they show up?!
Because trust us the coin of the realm.
And Deep State, including Big Med and Big Pharma, are flat freaking BUSTED.
Informed consent is impossible.
Did anyone there think to run a simple database comparison to find multiple instances? Geez, this just highlights the incompetency of the SF government...

This is happening all over the country. People are asked to cancel other appointments they’ve made, but just aren’t doing it.
I’ve been hearing anecdotal stories about people getting sick from the vaccine.
Well if you want to grind the corrupt, fraudulent System to a halt this is a great way to do it. Throw sand in the gears. We should all start booking unnecessary vaccine, DMV, passport and other government appointments and then cancel last minute or not show up. Peaceful resistance, right?
It’s a given that the media will hide news that conflicts with its agenda. Since the media is now pushing the vaccine, it’s natural to assume that the downside of the vaccine is being suppressed. That’s the result of too much bias in the news; not knowing what we’re not being told is scaring people away from the vaccine. Thanks to the media.
One possile explanation. People are being told, without evidence by a politicized media and public health establishment, that recipients continue to be a danger even after getting the vaccine, and that, consequently, they will have to continue to mask and social distance. This removes a major reason for getting the vaccine and makes people less prone to ignore concerns over the vaccine’s safety.

Totally agree. The Government needs to acknowledge at a minimum that two weeks after the second dose nearly complete immunity is achieved, at least for purposes of being infectious. Masks... should not be required at that point. Provide a vaccine passport if they must, let’s get on with life.

Our family is not getting the vaccine for a variety of reasons. One huge benefit of this is that we are now free of the anxiety, aggravation, stress, hoops to jump through, and all the other cr@p people are going through who want the vaccine. For those who are desperate for it (literally desperate - we know people who refuse to function in any ‘normal’ way until they get it - it’s the “be all, end all” for them), the mental stress is driving them more nuts than they already are from what’s been happening over the last year.
We didn’t show up for our first shot yesterday. All the roads were closed due to the winter storm. We called and were told we would be automatically contacted for a new appointment.
These appointments were issued to “people” who mailed in their votes for Biden.
“Maybe they all died?”
But still voting.
