A consultant for the Republican establishment, who wrongly predicted that former President Trump would not be the GOP presidential nominee in 2015, is now calling former United Nations (UN) Ambassador Nikki Haley the “front-runner” for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
GOP consultant Alex Castellanos — whose clients have included the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, former President George W. Bush, and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) during his failed 2008 presidential bid — claims Haley is leading the GOP slate of potential candidates for 2024.
“I think Nikki Haley is the front-runner and it’s going to be very hard to stop her,” Castellanos said in an interview with the Carlos Watson Show. “I think she’s underestimated.”
“I think a lot of the politicians in Washington say, ‘Oh, not really a heavyweight candidate.’ I think she’s the real deal and she’s going to be, I think, the horse to beat,” Castellano said.
Castellanos, as Breitbart News reported in August 2015, wrongly predicted that Trump would never become the Republican nominee for president, much less go on to win in 2016 against Democrat Hillary Clinton, and that an anti-populist Republican would become the nominee.

Disagree. A third or more of the GOP voters would vote for Romney again if he is running against a Democrat for POTUS. There is no fixing that stupid.

Nikki! might be the frontrunnner because she is the only runner at this time.
1. I don’t see how Trump could be denied the nomination were he to run in 2024. With the coming collapse of the economy, the Republicans are sure to win, even if there’s a John Anderson-like “independent” in the race. Therefore, as long as his health holds up, I think there’s a very good chance Trump will get into the race.
2. If Trump doesn’t get into the race, there are four candidates who could do a good job of uniting the Republican Party (which isn’t to say anybody could do a perfect job of uniting the Republican Party). These are Mike Pompeo and Ben Carson, who performed very well as cabinet secretaries in Trump’s administration; and, Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis, the Governors of our #2 and #3 largest states.
3. Nikki Haley is a second tier candidate, and realistically we’re talking about Vice President. Vice Presidents are supposed to avoid being controversial and Nikki, unfortunately, got sucked into commenting on Trump. I think that killed her V.P. chances. Think of South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem as a better V.P. pick.
Abbot’s name is mud now in Texas from this weather stuff. I don’t think he’ll last as governor here much longer anymore.

I was listening to Michael Berry this morning on the radio and he was very critical of Abbott to put it mildly. My lady friend in Houston ain’t to happy right now.

These people are so stupid. They think we’re stupid. I didn’t trust her before less now.
Clearly the line is drawn In the sand. We have McConnell’s and the Romney’s and this lady and others telling us about the future of our country and the Republican party. They’re telling us that we need to abandon Trump and move elsewhere. These people are so out of touch with reality it’s like the commercial “where is the beef”.
