This story on Yahoo from Skagit Valley Herald has more info.

It seems that radical left-wing nut Kamran Cohee and her hate-filled friend pulled in to let the air of their innocent Trump sign people's tires.

The husband came out and was taking photos of the nuts when they took offense, at some point he punched the friend and ended up running back into his house.

The radicals decided to beat on the front door with a wheelbarrow.

After that Angela Conijn fired her gun; obviously defending herself against wheelbarrow-wielding nutballs!

Apparently the USA has become England where defending yourself against violent home invaders gets you arrested.

If I were the defense attorney I might have someone slam a wheelbarrow against the courtroom door during the trial and say “how do you feel about that, Your Honor?”

Most people still labor under the mistaken concept that the Law is on the side of honest people[those who abide by the law]. Nothing could be more wrong. Now February 17, 2021 and for a long time before that, the Law is on the side of the criminal [law breaker]. Some still refuse to grasp that concept and they learn the facts of Life the hard way. 5-10 in the pen. This ain't your grandfather's America. Evil has been in control for sometime.

The intruders sure have a stench of Antifa about them. They're in a region that has a pretty good saturation of that sort. Bet some background doxxing would turn up some interesting info.

Very sad. That has been the intent all along to take away our right of self defense.

From the article:

Outside, the other man and Cohee allegedly began beating on the Conijn’s front door with a wheelbarrow, documents state.

At that point, Angela Conijn allegedly exited the house and fired a gun toward the parked vehicle striking Cohee.

Cohee’s body was located about 50 feet from the residence and about 25 feet from the road, court documents state.

******************

I guess the investigation will provide the evidence. This article could be viewed several ways. Cohee may have already stopped trying to break down the door and fled upon seeing the gun which would make it a bad shoot - perhaps. (Homeowner maybe thought they would get in the truck and ram the house, get a gun, maybe Cohee yelled “I’m gonna’ get my BIGGER gun and you’re dead!!”)

Or, the homeowner holding the gun was enough to send the scum running, and the shots didn’t need to be fired.

Or, the guy that lived in the house collapsed just inside the front door after being beaten. The door was near the parked vehicle. The wife came out another door, pointed the gun at them and told them to stop and leave. When they kept pounding away trying to break in, she fired and hit the woman, who then injured tried to get away and made it 50 feet before stopping. I sure hope the evidence shows it to be my last speculation which would be a justified shoot.

The homeowner’s big mistake: they should have called 911 at the first sign of trouble. Not in any expectation that the cops would arrive in time to do any good, but rather because whoever calls 911 FIRST has established the story that the cops will follow.

If someone is messing with your car, call in “car robbery in progress” before confronting anybody. It establishes that, in your mind, AND in the cops minds, you were dealing with a felony in progress.
