He cannot issue an EO to stop the sale of a product legally manufactured in the United States. AK-47s are already made in the USA after Obama banned their import. EOs apply to the enforcement or administration of existing laws under the jurisdiction of the Executive Branch. States can tell him to pack sand and he cannot enforce his EO. He can direct BATFE to over-interpret laws, be creative in prohibitory rule-making, stall paperwork processing, aggressively prosecute, etc by EO.
He can promote economic blockade of firearms related banking by EO and bully pulpit.

Under Trump The ATF arbitrarily and illegally made bump stocks illegal and started going after pistol braces. What were the consequences of those actions? Under our non-Constitutional government it appears they can do whatever they want. It’s up to us decide whether we will comply.

Exactly! But will he try to dance around it. I believe the ATF is within the Executive Branch. He could order that agency to create rules restricting gun ownership that includes seizing weapons, imposing fines and prison terms, etc.

In other words it would be a bureaucratic move, not a legislative one. The EPA gets by with this all the time.

His mask mandate EO supposedly applies to all public transportation. This clown has no control over a private bus or taxi company, yet people are buying into it. It’s massive overreach.
