White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Tuesday that President Joe Biden has not ruled out using executive orders for gun control.
When asked if Biden still intended to use executive action on gun control – a vow made during his campaign – Psaki responded, “The president has a range of actions at his disposal … he hasn’t ruled out either of those options.”
Biden’s campaign website boasted about his record working with legislative and executive actions during the Obama administration, pointing to “two dozen actions” the administration took after Biden was tasked with heading gun control measures.
Biden’s campaign website also stated, “Biden will also use his executive authority to ban the importation of assault weapons,” in addition to working with Congress to “ban the manufacture and safe of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.”

Unless its Congressional law, I won’t follow it!! If it's congressional law it's still unconstitutional.

He has NO power, executively to deny American Citizens their Rights under the Second Amendment. He cannot MAKE a law, nor can he INFRINGE on what are enumerated Rights of the Constitution. He does and he most definitely can be removed from office in even a mixed House of Rep. Get rid of Pelousi and see what happens. She currently has only a 2 vote margin to hold her office, with the addition of Claudia Tenney, finally!.

But I agree, the SCOTUS seems to have decided that their role is to agree with the ruling party, and protect Democrats no matter which party is in control. JM, I think you might be on to something there.

I’m thinking that every one of these EO’s can be challenged due to his diminished mental state. What does that mean exactly when you have corrupt courts?

Even if it were a legit goobermint today, issuing EOs on things that are really legislative issues deligitimizes it. Does the last couple months inform you that the law doesn't really matter anymore? The constitution means only what a corrupt court says it means. Even the great Justice Scalia said that reasonable gun(control) laws were not unconstitutional. He also said burning the US Flag was free speech. However now burning a gay flag is likely to be called a hate crime.

Even if it were a legit goobermint today, issuing EOs on things that are really legislative issues deligitimizes it. Even so do they have the means to feed and supply themselves? Transport themselves to battle? Ability to seize an defensible area of operations and hold it against air power mechanized artillery? I doubt it, takes years of advanced planning to carry out something like that and we haven't even begun such an endeavor. Of course that assumes the military would stand with the dems and I haven't seen anything that would make me think they won't.

Congressional “Law” that violates the Constitution also ought not be followed. You ought not go to jail for refusing to obey them, but you will. We are in a post constitutional period of our history. Levin has been warning us for years, now it should be plain for anyone who cares to see.

Wanting to ban buying guns, ammo, or parts online would put a crimp in some big money people’s pockets. They can always export, we been supplying both sides of most scraps for years.

It goes so far as to mean “Shall not be frustrated”. So all of these laws restricting ownership are unconstitutional. And yet they exist and are enforced, so what now?

They aren’t going to worry about constitutionality or compliance. If you don’t comply your bank accounts will be zeroed out and all your credit cards cancelled. They have been building up to it for a long time. Glad to see you have none of these in you back yard E. 🦄

There is no gun law Congress can pass that would be Constitutional, legitimate government or not. You are saying that like it means something. We may see something different next week if the Supremes advance any of the election fraud suits but don't count on anything happening.
Holding up the Constitution is about as effective against these tyrants as a woman holding up her order of protection as her ex strangles her.

Executive orders apply to members of the Executive branch and not to citizens. Unless the Congress objects EO's have the effect of law and they do apply to you, believe it or not.

could the military as per their oath of enlistment by theory intervene If they were prone to do that they would have retained Trump. The fact that Trump did not declare an insurrection that should be a hint as to where they stand, at least the commanders. Trump had no control over DOJ or FBI and very little over the Military else all the troops would have been home already.

His mask mandate EO supposedly applies to all public transportation. This clown has no control over a private bus or taxi company, yet people are buying into it. It’s massive overreach. Not only the people but those that enforce those rules he can't make.

Nothing substantial can be done without congress. The only way anything substantial will be done is in spite of Congress, did you sleep through the Trump presidency?

Thank God Trump got ACB on the supreme court. I think that is to be determined, the three's first test was not encouraging.

He can’t abridge a Constitutional right by executive order. He can if he has the Military behind him unlike Trump who didn't.

Maybe you failed to notice, thanks to Trump we now have 5 Conservatives on the court WITHOUT Roberts. If that turns out to be true there will soon be 12 or 15 members of the court, they are not going to let a few judges interrupt their plans.

I’m 63 and I won’t live long enough to see that happen. Careful you may live longer than you think, I never thought I would make 50, had a heart attack at 44 and I am 82 now.
