New skin patch promises comprehensive health monitoring (glucose, BP, Heart Rate,

Scientists have developed a new skin patch that can provide all-in-one health monitoring capabilities.

The thin, flexible patch, worn on the neck, can track the wearer's heart rate and blood pressure, as well as glucose levels.

The technology, described Monday in the journal Nature Biomedical Engineering, can even measure the amount of lactate, alcohol or caffeine in the wearer's blood.

"This type of wearable would be very helpful for people with underlying medical conditions to monitor their own health on a regular basis," co-first author of the study Lu Yin said in a news release.

"It would also serve as a great tool for remote patient monitoring, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when people are minimizing in-person visits to the clinic," Yin, a nano-engineering doctoral student at the University of California, San Diego.

In addition to monitoring chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as pinpointing the onset of sepsis, the patch could help predict people at risk of becoming severely ill with COVID-19.

The article does not say, but will this device also require an implantable chip? The Dexcom devices do, which is why I would not have one.

“The article does not say, but will this device also require an implantable chip?”

What do you mean by “implantable”. If you mean under the skin the answer is no, and neither is the DexCom device.

I wouldn’t mind using that patch if there was some way to insure that I was the only person getting that information. Seeings how a smartphone is involved, I’d be wary.

If I was a diabetic, I would buy it in a millisecond, and also invest in their stock as soon as it went public.

Beats pricking your finger several times a day, everyday.

And worrying about somebody “stealing” your glucose level is pure paranoia. You think anybody is that interested in your glucose?

Original paper link below. This is incredible integrated multi-function sensor work.

I totally agree with you. “Remote patient monitoring” is the key phrase. It reminds me of that time when Bill Gates paid millions to a research company to invent a remote controlled fertility chip because the Fat Sicko fantasizes about being able to click any women’s fertility on/off at the whim of his big important self...

This garbage “science” of the Controllers is exactly what Dr Madej and Catherine Austin Fitts both say - TPTB want to monitor everyone remotely for control, for punitive and reward reasons, eliminate you when you are no longer useful, make us into idiotic robots through transhumanism. Sick. They also wrap this garbage in some benefit to you, but their intentions are to benefit themselves.

As soon as you have to pull the nazi card, you pretty much have confirmed you lost the argument.

I was in my endocrinologists office where they were going to put a temporary DEXCON on me for a 2-week study. And yes, they were holding the implant device in their hands. They WERE going to chip me. I straightway walked out of the building saying no thanks!

I have 2 diabetic children. The Dexcom continuous glucose monitor is a sensor, not a chip.

Doesn’t sound like the pilgrim has progressed much. Do you use electricity yet?

It uses a prong device, that, I assume, measures your glucose level.
