The trick for me, as a truck driver, is not to sit back and relax as soon as I park at a truck stop, or when I get home.
If I do that, I allow myself to admit that I am too tired to work out for a half hour. Instead, I loosen up, do some good old floor calisthenics, run sprints (at my age it probably looks like a fast jog), or get on the old nordic trac ski machine when at home (rebuilt ones are pretty cheap) or ride bicycle. I probably average doing that 3 or 4 times a week.
If I don’t give the wife heads up, and supper is ready when I get home, she is not going to reheat it; so the workout that day is skipped. ;)
Thanks for the good idea. I’ll try it.
Can’t YOU reheat?
LOL
