why oh why did Utah put Romney back in Congress? All he’s done is cause trouble, when he’s not courting an appointment in the Biden administration that is.

The jealousy of Willard over Trump’s success — Trump’s everything, really — is monumental. He’s willing to sacrifice the whole of America because of the green-eyed monster. Shameful.
Well we’re about to find out how honorable he really is. He was elected on the promise he would serve two terms max. His second term is up in 2022.

The back story is that the Utah Mormons liked Romney because he helped save the Salt Lake City Olympics. Although, Mormon, Romney is not from Utah. He is from Michigan, was Gov. of Mass., has houses in MA, NH and, I think his principal place of residence was La Jolla CA. When Orrin Hatch announced his retirement, Romney bought a house in Deer Valley Utah to establish residency. At that time he had already publicly said disparaging things about Trump. when he announced that he was running, the Utahans, who by then mostly liked Trump and were concerned about Romney’s attacks on him,the Mormon Church and Romney, made promises to the Mormon people that Romney woudl not seek the Pres. election of 2020 and would work with him and not disparage him. Romney, as he was inheriting another Mormon’s seat, was apparently promised positions on committees even though he woudl be a junior senator. The working with him part did not last long after he was elected and the Utahan Republicans, especially the Mormons, were not happy. They consider him a carpetbagger, they feel lied to, I have heard the description “evil” used and he is now the most hated man in Utah. most are very angry with him except for the Utah Dems—80+% approve of him. He will not get elected again by republicans in Utah. Maybe he will switch parties, I wouldn’t be surprised, by his current party wants him out of Utah.

My 78 year old father (who I adore) continues to takes shots at me over President Trump’s so called epic loss.
I remain respectful, loving and avoid the topic of politics when we converse.
