Closing arguments at former President Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial were expected to get underway Saturday morning — with each side granted two hours to make their final case to the US Senate before an expected vote on the verdict later in the day.
But Day 5 started instead with House impeachment manager Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) asking to subpoena records and call a witness sparking fierce debate with Trump defense lawyer Michael van der Venn.

That's what I'd wanna know. I hope it's because Graham knows something about what actually happened and that the sleazebag democrats left out much of the conversation with McCarthy. Sliced and diced just like they always do.

It's even better than that. Shifting goal post to post-incitement and riffing off last night's news about the alleged phone call between Kevin McCarthy and President Trump, after the capitol police invited the public in.

They will vote 55-45 for each witness the dems want.... and maybe even vote 55-45 to not hear each witness team trump wants. Trump and his team should walk.... go home and tell them they will see them at the Supreme Court if this charade continues.
So did Graham change his vote to AYE because he wanted to make sure people know he will now extend the trial

Could be because Graham plans to move for reconsideration. Any voter on the winning side can do that.
I’m not saying that was his motive, just tossing out a possibility. Senate protocol usually has the party leader make that motion, and most often the protocol is vote is rendered final bay making and tabling motion to reconsider on unanimous consent.
Senate is likely negotiating the number and form of witnesses to be allowed.
Democrats and the Graham wing of the GOP must have decided the impeachment theater is good for them.
