Paris (AFP) - Developing new Covid-19 vaccines will fail to end the pandemic unless all countries receive doses in a fast and fair manner, disease experts warned Saturday.
As several nations consider implementing vaccine passports when international travel resumes, the authors of an open letter published in the Lancet medical journal said vaccine stockpiling in wealthier countries would only prolong the global health emergency.
They warned that "vaccine nationalism" could leave the Covax initiative aimed at getting vaccines to low- and middle-income countries facing a huge dosage shortfall for several years to come.
Based on available sales figures, the authors said that rich nations representing 16 percent of the global population had already secured 70 percent of vaccine doses -- enough to inoculate every one of their owns citizen several times over.
The letter called on manufacturers to accelerate technology transfer to developing nations to help them produce doses domestically, as well as price controls for what it termed "prohibitively expensive" vaccines currently on the market.

Why are some nations “rich” and others “poor”? Because some are productive and others are lazy whiners who blame their failure on others.
I have now known nine people who have had Covid 19, and tested positive. The symptoms ranged from sniffles to lying in bed for several days but experiencing symptoms less than some flu episodes. Ages ranged from late fifties to early sixties. A couple had mild comorbidities like overweight, smoking, high blood pressure, etc.
The man who suffered the most did not come down with Covid. He had the first shot and spent almost a week in bed, saying he had seldom felt so bad. He is the oldest at 72. The second shot made him sore and achy, but no other effects.
A recent article talked about the draconian lockdown at the Berkley campus. I had to read all the way to the end to find out that only about 160 students had tested positive. I am certain from the lecturing tone of the article that if anyone had died or become seriously ill, it would have been in the lead paragraph. So, is this a real “epidemic?” I think that it largely affects the elderly and those are the ones that should be protected. Shutting down the economy, running thousands of businesses out of business...THAT is criminal.

Since these “vaccines” confer no immunity but only lessen symptoms, there is no end to the pandemic even with the vaccines. We have to ask ourselves, why the double-talk?

Lots of epidemics have ended without equal vaccine access — back in the days when we had controlled immigration and vaccine requirements for travel.
The only thing to stop the Pandemic is to make HCQ, Zinc Sulfate, Azithromycin and Ivermectin Over The Counter drugs so everyone can self medicate for pennies.
