I used to believe that would be a good idea. Not anymore. Not enough trustworthy in positions of political power right now. Open that box now and the terror that it would produce would never be recoverable.

First, let’s shed no blood and try an Article V Convention of the States.

I'm not advocating violence, but how can we live with the leftists when they can't even live with each other? Just look at the violent crime in the cities they run.

“If they vote to acquit, Republican senators will be inviting Trump to try to retake the White House....”

Exactly WHAT does the Washington Post know here, that could even make one think that could somehow be a possibility?

So We the People are not worthy of self-government?

That opinion from the WaPo sounds more like incitement of violence than anything the left came up with against Trump.

No terror because there’s virtually no chance in the next 10 years at least, of Article V Convention of the States happening. Do you have the confidence of the delegates intelligence, integrity, commitment to the founders vision and the ethics of a devout Judeo-Christian ability to do the right thing in today’s society? We are quickly becoming a nation undereducated unmotivated underclass looking for no responsibility of any type.

I prefer to wait until we can fix some of what truly ails society and critical thinking is reintroduced before we travel down that road.

I want self-government, not Deep State fascist tyranny in which industry and corporations dance to the democrat’s tune.

Outside of a COS, We the People can’t touch dozens of destructive Scotus decisions. Within Article V we can repeal scotus decisions and the horrid 16th - 18th Amendments.

You want assurances? You want a guarantee? Here’s one: If we do nothing, I guarantee economic strangulation, crushing taxes, cruelty, and societal destruction.

<>I prefer to wait until we can fix some of what truly ails society and critical thinking is reintroduced before we travel down that road.<>

Yeah, that’s the ticket. Just keep voting, as if it matters.
