WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers are rebutting the case made by House impeachment managers as they take their turn to present arguments on day four of his trial.
The former president’s defense team has 16 hours to make their case but lead impeachment lawyer David Shoen said they would likely only use three to four hours to present their arguments.

But they all want to get this done quickly. I don't expect many questions. Heck, there is no need for a trial presentation. They all knew how they were going to vote, three weeks ago. This presentation changes nothing.

me too....but we know he’s not finished. The press doesn’t know how to ‘quit’ Trump..and he knows it.
I choose to sit tight...the dust still isn’t settled and Trump will eventually take the stage...just give it time.
It seems to me that the main audience for this is the American people. Senators are going to vote the same way they had decided to vote before it even started. Many people are hearing things today, or might see them in the future, that they have never heard before.
It was funny watching Senator Liz Warren use "fight" word many times in the past...
I hope that many Americans finally realize that Democrats are wasting time with this impeachment trial...
It was also a good opportunity for a broadcast of excellent parts of Trump’s speech, something many Americans, especially consumers of the Ministry of Truth media, had never seen. Then a second video played showing many Dem’s using the word “fight”. I am so glad for this defense.
I was glad that the defense team played the clip of Mr. Trump speaking about Charlottesville incident...He clearly condemned white supremacists...
