Lind­sey Gra­ham is try­ing to intro­duce Nik­ki Haley to big polit­i­cal donors and it’s not going well.

The ambi­tious for­mer ambas­sador the Unit­ed Nations released a cal­cu­lat­ed break from Pres­i­dent Trump the same day his defense begins in the sham impeach­ment trial.

The prob­lem: Haley is as unpop­u­lar among donors as she is among Repub­li­can voters.

“Lind­sey Gra­ham is mak­ing this pitch for Nik­ki Haley and he’s call­ing around to peo­ple to ask if they will meet with her,” said Richard Baris, direc­tor of Big Data Poll.

“These donors are angry and they do not want to sit down with Nik­ki Haley,” he said.

“I guess she for­got to men­tion this to Politi­co,” Baris added.

Baris said his sources tell him Haley, Gra­ham, and oth­er estab­lish­ment Repub­li­cans have been plan­ning for more than a year how to break the GOP away from Pres­i­dent Trump.

Stephen K. Ban­non said it won’t work. “She will nev­er be the 2024 nom­i­nee. She will nev­er be pres­i­dent,” he said.

Making Trump GOP Chair would actually fix a lot of GOP Establishment problems, the more I think about it. IT would totally change everything. I’m telling you. I saw the GOPe happen on the local level in Georgia. There are people afraid to say anything good about Trump because they want to be work for and get paid working with the GOP. They think too many people working for the GOP near the top will not give them a job if they say or do pro-Trump things. Thats all. Its peer pressure and the GOP Establishment is using political Facism. This all vanishes with Trump as GOP Chair. It will be like night and day!

For GA, the whole Georgia GOP Establishment thing started during Romney’s campaign run AFTER Newt dropped out. It went into full force when Trump ran as they were afraid Trump would win the convention as that gives him GOP power in that he has power over the GOP Chair and can remove/pick any GOP Chair he wants. The GOP chair can then pick who works at the top of the GOP.

this is why on the grass root level republicans have to be involved within the party apparatus …Big disconnect currently between Washington DC and the states...We need to be communicating…We need to be shoring up the strength of the party. Washington DC establishment needs to understand that unless they are meeting there constituents needs they will be primaried 2 years from now. Donors a re great but the money they donate becomes ineffective if they do not take care of there home state constituents... the washingyon establishment needs to understand that Trump is for at least the next 4 years as either the candidate for president or the king maker in 4 years.
