A leader in the ongoing effort to recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom said they have amassed the 1.5 million signatures needed to qualify for a statewide vote.
In a tweet late Wednesday, Thomas del Beccaro, a chair of the recall effort, revealed that their petition had collected “over” the 1.5 million signatures necessary, but that their work to get the matter on the ballot was far from over.
“To ensure qualification we need 1.9 million [signatures],” Beccaro wrote on the social media platform, as many signatures could be found to be ineligible and removed.
In the past year, he has seen his approval rating plummet in response to the stringent restrictions he placed on businesses and the state’s closing of schools, neither of which played a strong role in actually stopping the spread of coronavirus in the state.
Things became worse for the state’s Democratic leader when he was caught violating his own coronavirus rules at a mask-less dinner party at posh Napa Valley eatery French Laundry in November.

You can hear hecklers chanting “Recall Newsom” off camera at Governor Newsom’s press conference. He’s in the Central Valley talking about vaccine rollout, ongoing negotiations to get kids back to school, youth sports, etc. Says CA has now given 5 million doses of vaccine. @FOXLA

It’s happening! California residents have had enough of the tyrant @gavinnewsom ! We are just above the needed 1.5M signatures to kickstart the recall of the WORST governor in California history!
Let’s get her done! If you know anyone who wants to sign the recall Gavin petition:
Download, Print and mail it. https://recallgavin2020.com/petition
Better: Downoald, Print, Get 4 more signatures and mail it.
Each sheet is for a county so, if you have some one who wants to sign and they are from a different county than the other signatures they need to sign a separate petition with that county written in
https://recallgavin2020.com/petition
Do it Now!

Except now Newsome will declare that he believes in vetting signatures and verification in an effort to disqualify. Because demonrats have no shame.

Can we not blow it this time?
To: DIRTYSECRET
I pray we don’t. I also pray that by some miracle, the replacement for Newsome won’t be worse. I pray that all the people fed up with unconstitutional and unfair infringements, aren’t mostly the same people who can’t understand that this is the logical and only possible outcome of leftist tyranny in other respects.

Keep going.
They’ll screw with the signatures just like they did 11/03 votes.
And while we’re on the subject of votes (which I conveniently
brought up [you’re welcome]), it was Pelosi and Schumer’s
idea that 01/06 should be a day like 09/11, always
remembered.
I’d like to offer up 11/03/20 for the honor.

To: Vendome; All
Patriots, please consider the following chores for patriots, inspired in part by Gov. Newsom.
State constitutions need to be amended to put time limits on lockdowns.
State constitutions also need to be amended to make state health and environmental protection officials elected by popular vote.
Constitutionally time-limited lockdowns need to automatically trigger special recall elections for governors, mayors and disaster officials who order lockdowns, also state lawmakers.
Finally, constitutions need to require people planning to run for state and local offices to escrow a refundable "recall deposit" before becoming a candidate, the deposit fully paying in advance for their possible recall elections if they are elected, amounts determined by law.
Additionally, state constitutions also need to be amended with "hypocrite" statutes that require elite politicians to pay double, triple and quadruple fines out of their own checking accounts, including extended jail time, for breaking laws that they helped to pass.
Either recall Newsom web site below is OK. Mailing address on downloadable form.

Let me guess, he will be replaced with Alyssa Milano....

I read on some site national guard was being sent from Colorado to California. Don’t know if it was true or just someone wanting to stir the pot. If true maybe aunt Nancy suggested it

I am both astonished and delighted. I never expected the Recall effort to go this far. I hope that organization keeps pushing it. Make sure to verify each signature asap so we know the actual number of good signatures.
With a pompous, arrogant personality like Gov. “Hair-Do”,
this has to be shocking. It is no longer a silly joke from a few extremists. If we replace him, it will be a flip of a coin on whether it’s an improvement.

“To ensure qualification we need 1.9 million [signatures],” Beccaro wrote on the social media platform, as many signatures could be found to be ineligible and removed.
Some people hate Newsom so much they've signed the petition multiple times - duplicates will be ineligible and could end up blocking qualification.
To: AnotherUnixGeek
I read somewhere there are 80k volunteers gathering signatures. I’m one of them. I only gathered 2 signatures but every little bit counts. I could have gathered 10 so just think what 80k of us could accomplish.
To: DIRTYSECRET
“Can we not blow it this time?”
LOL. When “pumpmeup” was the obvious successor, last time, I knew the recall would accomplish little to nothing.
To: AnotherUnixGeek
Really? Wow
Maybe we should shoot for 2 million signatures....

Several questions regarding the pic at the head of this post:
1. Newsome is a rat, correct? Then what’s he doing wearing a jacket with a silhouette of an elephant on his jacket?
2. The governor’s seal has XL at the bottom of it. What does that stand for? California hypocrisy is XL (extra large)?
3. And it would be perfect if the flowers on the seal are pansies. Are they?
