I’m not defending Abbott, but since Arizona lost that landmark Supreme Court case (roughly 6-years ago), there’s virtually nothing state governments can do to enforce immigration policy.
Really, the only course of action they have is to sue to have the Judiciary force the Administration to enforce existing law. I believe the Texas AG has already done that.
That was my solution also. I'm sure there would be a number of citizens who would chip in a little to charter some buses for these folks. Give each one a contact point and phone number in D.C. Instruct them to call upon arrival for shelter and meal tickets.
They could very well be why our cases here have shot up.
Take note of the clothing they are wearing. Not hand-me-down rags. All of them probably have the latest I-phones and paid the coyote $7,000 to $10,000 to get them to the border. Note also the absence of “families”. Progressives will believe anything.
Add putting these new special visitors right outside the Capitol building’s new barb wire fence.
Set up campgrounds for the new visitors outside and around the barbed wire fence.
Your tax dollars at work thank your cards go to Biden.
We fully agree with and support our Sheriff!
30 years in this county. Under Obee Admin we had a perished invader dropped off in a cornfield to our east...probably out of the back of an 18 wheeler full of them. We’ve had a carload of invaders get chased down by PD, stop 300 yards from our home(backroad south Texas), and 14 of them bail out in the dead of winter at 2AM. Our 4-legged wireless alarms let us know about it with their barking. NONE were found by PD. Talked to dispatch to confirm the above and told her our outside dogs don’t like strangers and reminded her that coyotes and wild hogs REALLY don’t either.
This won’t end well for anyone.
Our Sheriff(interviewed) fully supports 2A, self-defense, and being prepared.
