As an ardent Trump supporter I resent the term lawless. My only nod to that description is that I consider speed limits more like suggested guidelines, but then almost everyone who drives on interstates has the same attitude.

He should moved to Southwest Florida where he’d be welcomed.

Just to be clear and upfront posting this, in NO way am I comparing Trump to that of a Prophet, but the analogy is uncanny:

Mark 6:4-6
New King James Version
4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

What they are really concerned about is the increased police presence which could interfere with their drug running, child trafficking, slave migrant labor and other Progressive entertainment activities.

Since 75 million didn’t show up in DC back in January, I doubt Palm Beach will need to worry about that many showing up.

He ought to buy a few Palm Beach properties and burn them down.

“...the former president would require security checkpoints that could be a burden for other homeowners in the area.”

Not only find out who is bitching about it and buy a home next to them but put a sign in front of that home that clearly states that this is a “TRUMP PROPERTY AND HOME”.

Put the biggest fence around that Trump house that is legal and the loudest alarms on the fence and property that the laws allow.

ANTIFA would never leave the whiners alone again and they would not be getting a good nights sleep ever again in thei present homes.

“...the half-dozen or so wealthiest malcontents who are griping about his presence... and then purchased homes next door or across the street...”

Buy multiple homes, Mr. President! Live in each part time. These wealthy hypocrites would then have an army of Secret Service agents patrolling the streets and asking them to state their business when out & about.

I have been there many a time and it is a police peninsula once you cross over the bridge....most that live there (not what we the unwashed consider living in a house) rarely venture except to the restaurant or liquor store...hell I went to the ocean every time visiting there and never saw a soul...VERY nice beaches there with a quick drop off and usually good waves.

I suspect the security aspect is a pain the butt for neighbors.

I was just by there yesterday. I didn't see any obvious security. It was very different when he was here as the Official President. Then you couldn't drive on the roads that roads that bordered the property at all. Ditto with boat traffic on the Intracoastal. There one could pass, probably at at distance (I don't know. I'm not a boater.), but armed Coast Guard putt-putts were all over the place.

Not to worry. Biden will cancel that next.

75 million didn't need to show up in DC in January. The hundreds of thousands who showed up in DC did what needed to be done.
Even more can show up and give the Dem Palm Beach County crazies plenty of pain about if that's what they want.
Pelosi and Schumer were sh*ting their pants even after the determined Trump voters showed up in DC that they got in a panic and quickly built a wall round the capitol while importing 25, 000 troops to protect them at a cost of over $400 million to taxpayers.
If Palm Beach County wants the same thing, the can let us know.

“...that Trump’s residency would turn Mar-a-Lago into “a permanent beacon for his more rabid, lawless supporters,” destroying the community’s “genteel” character.”

For sure, the idiot who claims that is not very genteel. Nope, he is a snotty democrat.

Why is everybody so upset about Trump living near them? Does he blast gangsta rap all night long? Does he put plastic flamingoes in his front yard? What? I’d be thrilled to have him living next to me. Maybe it’s the helicopters, but how often is he going to travel by helicopter now that he’s not president anymore?

People should start refusing socialist’s housing and jobs. They are setting the precedent.

I would love to have President Trump move to my area here in Texas. Would welcome him with open arms!Around here, “Never Trumpers” would be most unwelcomed.

Actually, I read that he has to tear down/get rid of the Helo Pad because he’s not the President anymore.
