They can get rid of that whole notion that Lincoln freed the slaves.
You have to erase all memory of slavery, and the notion that there is an alternative (Freedom), before you can re-implement it. The goal is to establish that slavery is the norm and nobody should ever think otherwise.
Isn't a wonderful world the people of this generation are preparing for their children?
