What a total, sniveling, disgrace of a piece of human debris. This entire impeachment is a total farce, yet this cuckold has to come out and debate the merits of Trump's lawyers and argue over semantics.
What the Hell is wrong with the Republicans? Do they not understand that the DemonRats are playing for keeps and their sorry asses will be next once Trump and his supporters are destroyed?

One recalls that Michael was on the verge of losing patience with Fredo when he had to tell him to never take sides against the family.

“””Anyone listening to those arguments — the House managers were focused. They were organized. They relied upon both precedent, the constitution and legal scholars. They made a compelling reason. President Trump’s team were disorganized,” he said.”””
Cassidy must be auditioning to be a Miss America Judge.
If Cassidy actually read the Constitution he would not need an argument from either side to reach a judgment.

I am telling everyone. We have to start voting Democrat. It is not enough to sit out the general election because these RINOs have comfortable margins.
We have to change the tide. We have to actively vote and work against them. Even if that means we have to work for Chuck and Nancy.

The Senate does not decide what is or is not constitutional.
Stating the obvious, for the record.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) on Tuesday panned the arguments made by former President Trump's legal team, saying that House Democrats made a more compelling case that the impeachment proceeding is constitutional.
The House Democrats were dishonest - they deliberately left out Trump's call for a peaceful protest in today's arguments. But Cassidy doesn't care - they could have flung crap in his face and he'd have praised them.

The Dems and GOP are on the same team- in case you have not figured that out just yet.

So Cassidy is now voting to convict Trump I’m sure the people of Louisiana are going to love him when he goes home to his district

Meanwhile, the RNC sends me solicitations for donations on a daily basis — asking me to send them $50, $100, $200, etc. ... so they can “stand with Trump and help fight the Democrats’ outrageous impeachment.”
These people really are retarded, aren’t they?

Highlighting the insufferable alignment of the two wings of the UniParty bird, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell allowed, permitted, and grinned as six GOP senators concurred with leftist democrats that impeachment of a former President is constitutional… Pro Tip: it ain’t.
Republican Senators:
- Bill Cassidy (LA),
- Lisa Murkowski (AK),
- Mitt Romney (UT),
- Susan Collings (ME),
- Ben Sasse (NE) and
- Pat Toomey (PA)
aligned with the usurpation:
To see evidence of the constitutional quagmire one only has to look at Chief Justice John Roberts’ refusal to participate in the impeachment trial. Despite his own ideological progressiveness, even Roberts couldn’t bring himself to compromise the baseline of the Judicial Branch role in determining constitutional issues around impeachment.
The entire system in DC is operating outside the constitutional framework… FUBAR.

The Pubbies heard a meticulous case against impeaching a president out of office. Trump’s lawyers cited the Dems’ effort to use several historical examples from British and American history to impeach and disqualify former office holders. All such efforts failed, including WIlliam W. Belknap, who resigned from offce. The Senate rejected Belknap’s impeachment because the Senate lacked jurisdiction to try a former official. The case for the unconstitutionality of impeaching President Trump even went into the Dems’ House case as a Bill of Attainder in violation of Article 1, Sec. 9. Cl. 3 of the United States Constitution: “No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.”
Those who had determined to push the process forward were not interested in the details. They might have slept through Trump’s legal team’s case for ending this kangaroo show trial. Maybe they slept just like they did through their pre-law classes on the Constitution. Why listen to the facts when they had their minds made up? Today they must have slept and dreamed of dinner bells and champagne dancing in their heads. Ding dong!

Sheesh people, Cassidy is one of our guys and just tells it like it is. The Dems can and are a total farce but that doesn’t mean they are not convincing. It’s what lawyers and debaters all do. Cassidy is one of the most plain spoken down to earth and funny guys on the hill. Like trump or not no one can work for him and it’s not hard to believe what he said about trumps team. Doesn’t need to be said, but trump shouldn’t give others room to undermine his cause.

So, I take it he is one of the 5 Republican Senators that are all about this sham?

What the Hell is wrong with the Republicans? Do they not understand that the DemonRats are playing for keeps and their sorry asses will be next once Trump and his supporters are destroyed? When everyone realizes that NOTHING is wrong with Republicans that's the day that we'll make progress. Republicans are DOING exactly what they want to do. They ARE with the Democrats. They are the uniparty. They are good cop/bad cop to keep the masses pacified into thinking we have a voice.

Pssst... both parties are against you... one just says stuff you agree with some times.
Once you realize that all of Congress needs to go... not just the ones in the other party... we can all start to change this mess.
