Louisiana has open primaries. We need to contact our state reps, and senators before the 2021 session begins, and strongly urge them to go back to closed primaries.

Unfortunately, there are at least 23 RINOs that will not support it.

It’s nice to a degree that some Republicans think a little independently, so to say, but absolutely that it accomplishes nothing since the Dems think and counter as a unified soviet block.

I know it’s fashionable on FR to use the example of a single republican to condemn ALL republicans, but you could at pick ones that aren’t actually dead — and have been among the non-living for nearly three years.

Go ahead and pick “any one” of the 45 Republican Senators who voted to certify the stolen election. No amount of Stalinist airbrushing will change the history of four years of a GOP supported coup topped by 75 million Americans disenfranchised in an election stolen in a fully bipartisan manner. The GOP owns it all.

open primaries are indeed dumb. but crowded closed primaries are just as fraught. see: senator roy moore.

“..Cassidy just won reelection. He must be confident that the voters will forget in six years how he voted today....”

Yep. Not only that, he rode Trump’s coattails and endorsement. He and Linsey are two peas in a pod. Both are backstabbing traitors....not only to Trump, but their constituencies. I know a lot of folks in LA. They won’t forget. This POS is burnt toast.

No worries. Rubio will be on my ballot in 2022. He won’t be getting my vote due to GOP support for the coup, election steal and Democrat hoax impeachments.

something that can’t be proven didn’t happen. you spent too much time drinking looney lin wood’s 100 proof twitter feed, when the horse was actually stolen by a tsunami unverified mail in COVID ballots.

you will never fix the problem if you can’t even identify it, and you can’t identify it.

Republicans who were happy to have Trump’s endorsement, especially the ones who attended a rally with him and then voted against him or have spoken against him disgust me the most.

I am at that point as well, sitting out won’t defeat Bush League Republicans, only voting Democrat for one cycle will.
Kamikaze voter.

So Cassidy is now voting to convict Trump I’m sure the people of Louisiana are going to love him when he goes home to his district

Meanwhile, the RNC sends me solicitations for donations on a daily basis — asking me to send them $50, $100, $200, etc. ... so they can “stand with Trump and help fight the Democrats’ outrageous impeachment.”

These people really are retarded, aren’t they?

Trump can screw the party if he wants in swing districts in the mid terms if he wants tread carefully here or they all risk becoming Liz Cheney

You GOP fluffers have your work cut out for you.

Coercing for votes has gotten a lot harder.

I am telling everyone. We have to start voting Democrat. It is not enough to sit out the general election because these RINOs have comfortable margins.

We have to change the tide. We have to actively vote and work against them. Even if that means we have to work for Chuck and Nancy.

Good idea. But we are not “starting” anything. In fact it is the GOP that has a history, long predating Trump, of supporting progressive Democrats to defeat Republican candidates they do not like.

The GOP plays dirty pool. It’s way past time we played by the political rules they use to defeat us.

I am so disappointed with Judges Barrett and Kavanaugh.
All I can presume is that they were nominated only after agreeing to support a hypothetical second impeachment of Donald Trump.
