Cassidy calls Trump attorneys 'disorganized' after surprise vote to proceed with trial

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) on Tuesday panned the arguments made by former President Trump's legal team, saying that House Democrats made a more compelling case that the impeachment proceeding is constitutional.

"I said I'd be an impartial juror. Anyone listening to those arguments — the House managers were focused. They were organized. They relied upon both precedent, the constitution and legal scholars. They made a compelling reason. President Trump's team were disorganized," he said.

What a total, sniveling, disgrace of a piece of human debris. This entire impeachment is a total farce, yet this cuckold has to come out and debate the merits of Trump's lawyers and argue over semantics.

What the Hell is wrong with the Republicans? Do they not understand that the DemonRats are playing for keeps and their sorry asses will be next once Trump and his supporters are destroyed?

Nope. The GOP Establishment Pukes are just fine with the full on assault that the Commies are running against our Constitution and the Rule of Law.

These spinless, gutless cretins and reprobates would much rather take it up their Obama than fight for justice and freedom. John Kerry has a bigger sack than ANY of the current GOP Maggots.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.)

As a lawyer he couldn't handle a parking violation.

The lawyers need to set up a class action lawsuit for Americans against Obama and Polizei’s Nazi hoard and their “impeachment” bastards.

Cassidy just won reelection. He must be confident that the voters will forget in six years how he voted today.

Just go ahead and vote to convict Senator, then go back to Louisiana and enjoy the praise of your constituents.

Might want to wear a cup.

I cannot even think about what these “Republicans” are doing.

The Dems are in lock-step nearly 100% of the time. We have the McCain’s, Romney’s, Graham’s, Collins, Murkowski and Sasse. How many more RINO’s hate America?

I heard people defend Susan Collins voting against Barrett’s appointment, because she was in Maine and running for reelection. What about her supporting the impeachment trial after winning reelection?

This cuck heard what he wanted to hear. The President’s lawyer’s argument was good.
In any case, if they vote to convict, or claim to make it a disability for Trump to ever run again, it will go to the Supreme court.

I want to hear Roberts reasoning that a trial he didn’t preside over, but a senator who also votes was legitimate.

Maybe the joke was on us. Barrett hasn’t been on America’s side yet. She voted not to hear any election cases because the other side would riot.

My feeling is this helps President Trump in that they can now show evidence of what really happened and make the media decide to have to blackout the hearings since they don’t want their zombies to hear and see it.

From what I’ve heard Trump’s lawyers are a total cucks, and thats on Trump.

As much as I love Trump, my biggest criticism of him is that he should have taken some of his unnecessary nastiness and saved it for the backstabbers who he put too much faith in.

I can’t help but think that Trump knows that he turns people off sometimes with his comments, and subconsciously, he tries to compensate for that by being too nice to the wrong people. That’s his biggest flaw.

Castor was PERFECT for this position!! You’re left with a big HUH???? What is this guy yapping about? WHY is he praising these people and droning on? He is perfect for this Shampeachment! A totally useless lawyer! They don’t deserve a high profile lawyer to fight this charge. I wouldn’t trust Castor to get me out of a parking ticket!! It doesn’t change the fact that the impeachment is a farce. If a Senator is dumb enough to vote for the trial to start they sure are not going to listen to anything coming out of a Trump lawyer’s mouth.
