I very much hope that with the strength he was remaining he can record a final message to us after the worst comes. One thing I have not heard on the show is any commentary from Rush himself on who he would approve of to continue the fight after his passing. I know nobody can truly replace Rush, but who would Rush want to see to continue in his time slot?

Yeah...have given some thought about who would replace Rush. He is one-of-a-kind, so it will be impossible to replace him. I could see Larry Elder taking that time slot. That would drive the liberals crazy (or should I say “crazier”) - and that is what is needed.

I love Mark Steyn as a guest on TV shows and as a columnist, but I can only take about 15 minutes of him as a radio sub for Rush. Too much joking around, and that becomes tiresome. I'd rather have a serious substitute, like Bill Whittle or Tammy Bruce.
