The Problem for Republicans Isn’t Unity, It’s Reality
American Thinker.com ^ | February 7, 2021 | P, F. Kelly jr

What does the recent vote keeping Liz Cheney in her leadership role among House Republicans mean? It means that the Republican Party may try to claim unity around establishment ideas, but it also means they are not serious about representing the interests of Republican voters.

Despite reports of a possible loss, Cheney retained her leadership role among Republicans in the House of Representatives. But what does Cheney “represent”? What issues have she and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who backed her in the vote, led on? What issues are they passionate about? Every establishment Republican has this same problem. What do they stand for? What are they fighting for in Congress? Unlike President Trump, who ran on a number of important issues in 2016 and then delivered on them for four years, like middle class tax cuts, reducing illegal immigration, confronting China on trade issues, and challenging China’s rising military power, establishment Republicans offer mostly lip service.

Supporting job-creating entrepreneurs and the middle class should be the primary goal of the Republican Party. Not through government-run programs that support them, but by getting out of the way, which is exactly what President Trump did. He fought for the American people by lowering their taxes, cutting regulations to make it easier for small businesses to make a profit, and working to return good-paying jobs in manufacturing to the U.S., which had been lost through misbegotten trade deals like NAFTA.

Republicans like Cheney and McCarthy want to turn the clock back to 2016, proposing more of the usual Republican platitudes that offer nothing to actual Republican voters. Republican voters are not the bankers and Fortune 500 executives of a generation ago. Those corporate interests have long been absorbed into the permanent governing establishment,

“ It means that the Republican Party may try to claim unity around establishment ideas, but it also means they are not serious about representing the interests of Republican voters.”

Actually, Trump being elected president even once means means they are not serious about representing the interests of Republican voters.

The GOP is FUBAR. It needs to go extinct like the Whigs before them.

“The Problem for Republicans Isn’t Unity, It’s Reality’

And the reality is.... they are in the game for themselves and themselves only. We peons are good for votes when the time comes though given this past shamlection, the machines can handle that with ease. Soooo..... get to work and pay those taxes to support the multiple waves of immigrants as they flow freely across our borders.

The coup, and the “impeachment” is because Donald Trump upended THE largest, multi-trillion dollar industry in America. The selling of American Congressional Legislation. The primary industry in DC.

THE issue that binds Red and Blue together in the UniParty is the issue of electoral fraud. Its why certain precincts have voted Red or Blue for over 100 years. Its the means by which Congress and K St lobbyists can guarantee “product delivery” to interests that pay enough.

Various “intelligence agencies” are the enforcement arm. Prolly different ones (there are 17 of them afterall!) supporting different “service lines”

Its mutually assured destruction if either side starts to betray the long-standing inter-generational process.

Whenever the issue starts to bubble too close to the surface we all start getting entertained with “pizza parties” and “SRA” issues/trafficking stories etc.-and other Red-Blue “trigger issues” intended to distract us-but these are only incidental to the business at hand-the selling of the votes and legislation of the most powerful legislative body in the world.

These “trigger issues” are intended to remove our eyes from what is going on right before our very eyes! These “trigger issues” are the stick the Deep State uses to marshall the votes they need to deliver product.

The contemporary information-digital communications technology has the ability to put an end to all of this -which is why the “information war” on the American electorate. Why “us” versus “them” is finally crystalizing.

Its why they barricaded Capitol Hill

Every establishment Republican has this same problem. What do they stand for? What are they fighting for in Congress?

They stand for one thing and one thing only, amassing Wealth and Power at the Expense of their fellow citizen and they are fighting the American Citizens to keep The Club intact so their Cabal of Quisling Politicians can get back on the Gravy Train of SELLING OUT AMERICA

I left the Republican party in 2007 and it’s gotten much worse.

I’m amazed that conservatives still take it from these people when they get NOTHING from them.

Conservatives.

Get. Out.

You are being used by liars and crooks who care nothing about you.

The reality is there needs to be a standup of the Patriot Party. Enough casting votes for those who habitually fold under pressure from the enemy.

And they called Trump fascist. He was just in the way and they had to move him. They have to keep that gravy train rolling, and damn the constitution. I bet those troops never leave DC.

Exactly! What do they even care about? They spend all their time trying to counter President Trump. Now what? Now what issues are they going to go to the mat for us on?

Unfortunately I’m afraid the only thing they want is military actions in the Mid East and to only be symbolic opposition to Degenecrats. They will give them a bunch of new taxes and then proudly come to us and say “aha we only gave them 90% of what they demanded. Aren’t you proud of us??”
