Most major brands of mayonnaise are loaded with soybean oil.

Avoiding soy takes great effort. Eliminating it probably takes a lifestyle out of the ordinary. They put it in literally everything. Limit your intake of it as best you can. There are alternatives out there. Do your Googles.

....Olive oil is about all we use. For cast iron cooking, I’ll use avocado oil (higher smoke point)....

Try using Clarified Butter it has a high smoke point and is a natural product.....

“Use bacon fat, it’s free.”

Or you can buy it cheaply at Costco. No refrigeration needed.

Now, if someone could put together a list of all the foods that RAISE testosterone levels, they could start a brand new diet trend for men, and maybe put a dent in sales of Viagra, and similar drugs.

Kraft has an olive oil version - or at least they did. It is in a green label.

I swore off discussing health matters here awhile back, so this comment’s context puts the matter in perspective:

Unnatural foods proclaimed healthy by those with their hands in the cookie jars and those who also told us eggs, fat & butter were unhealthy, directly leading to an epidemic of heart disease.

I fell for it, too. But nearly no one listens to common sense.

Actually I just learned that recently. I had been occasionally drinking both almond milk and soy milk. I won’t be doing that anymore.

Rather than give you just one source here are multiple sources. It was somewhat shocking how many foods lower testosterone. Which would explain the mystery of why testosterone in men is on the decrease.

Bought some lard for a special occasion pie crust (an Alton Brown recipe and very yummy.)

Now my Dad made the best tacos ever. I fried some taco shells in the left over lard and I figured out why my Dad’s were fantastic.

When I hit 80 lard will be a staple in my diet!

Up in the Northern Prairies, rapeseed oil, oops, it’s now called canola oil, is considered much healthier than vegetable oil or soya oil.

Personally, I prefer olive oil or coconut oil for high temp. cooking.

When I was a kid (60’s) my aunts would all use lard. Had pantries full.

Go to olive oil. Hopefully, that’s not as estrogenic.

Don’t cashews give you diarrhea, or is that a myth?

I remember 45 years ago when soy was thought of as “crap” if it was in your food like a burger filler.
