Hey there, Kathy.
Not a warm day at all. Some friends of Hubby’s were here this afternoon and I was out at the garage with them for a half our or so. I didn’t think I’d ever shake the chill afterwards. Fortunately, I did after about an hour.
Not that it was frigid but the wind had a nasty, damp bite that went to the marrow. brrrrrrr
Now it’s raining and supposed to change over to snow overnight.
You would never know that it was a clear day in your part of town from looking at the Lake Hood cam. Really ugly over there and it was all day. Now they have pea soup fog.
Don’ have any reason to head off anywhere tomorrow but will take Lake to the vet Monday. The weather will be decent enough then.
As of this evening the weatherman seems to think we’ll miss out on an arctic blast here next week. Works for me!

I’d rather be bored by warm weather than cold. LOL At least we aren’t in the deep freeze but it’s cold enough.
Yes, it’s raining now and will change over to the frozen stuff any ol’ time. They say we might get an inch so it won’t be bad. I kinda want a good snowfall so I can get some pretty snow pix.

Even better would be for it not to snow or sleet. Just sounds way TOO cold. :)

Movie’s over. Now I can pay more attention to the computer. LOL
We’ll see what kind of snow total we get tonight. I just took a peek outside and it’s already snowing now.
At this point they’ve backed off on us getting an arctic deep-freeze next week and if that holds, I’m happy to settle for the cold we do get, which will be about what we’ve been dealing with lately. Not fun but it tolerable.
I hope you get some great pictures....and that you don’t get the deep-freeze next week. I guess that’s what will lower our temps from mid/high 70s to mid 50s by next Thursday. Winter has totally been absent here this year.
You got that right! The wind makes cold so much worse. Shoves it right through the threads of whatever you’re wearing. It did today, and the temps weren’t really that bad.
Snow’s gotta stick and pile up in order to get pix. It’s sticking on the ground already so we’ll see what happens. I didn’t think it would stick so soon since we were in the 40s today but it’s down to 34 now.
I guess the ground is cold from the frigid nights y’all have been having. I feel sorry for any animals [except the coydogs] who have to be outside in it.
Could be the case. We didn’t have any sunshine today to help warm up the ground and it got down to the low 20s last night.
It’s a wet, sticky snow and is starting to look pretty on the magnolia trees in the front yard.
I’ll bet it will be gorgeous by morning. Hope you can get some pictures without having to muck through it. LOL!
Gonna go watch a show and then head out. I don’t need to be pew-bonking in the morning. See ya later!
It isn’t snowing all that hard. We might get an inch or two before it’s over, unless it starts snowing harder.
Gotta muck around in it to find the good shots. LOL Can’t do it by shooting through the windows. I’ve got nice warm boots for it.
