A 95-year-old German woman has been charged with being an accessory to the murder of more than 10,000 people at the Stutthof concentration camp in Poland during World War II.
The unidentified woman, who reportedly worked as a secretary and commandant’s aide in the camp for two years, will be tried in juvenile court because she was under 21 at the time, according to the public prosecutor’s office in the small town of Itzehoe, northwest of Hamburg.

If any American soldiers committed war crimes during the Vietnam War, then yes, those should be investigated and prosecuted. I hope there were few, or no, such incidents. In any event, it’s up to the U.S. Government to prosecute those crimes as they see fit...just like it’s up to the German government to prosecute WWII war crimes as *they* see fit.

Called the Gestapo?
The Gestapo would have thrown HER into the camp. After torturing her of course.
Perhaps the local Burgermeister?
He would have turned her into the Gestapo for spreading false propaganda.
Also consider that she would have been indoctrinated in the schools and the Bund Deutscher Mädel, League Of German Girls, to follow orders and directions without questioning them. That Jews and others were sub-human and were the enemies of Germany.
Quite frankly, she DIDN’T KNOW any different.
Something I always wondered about was what happened to the South American “tech boom” from all of the ex Nazis who escaped to there? I finally found out that the CIA bought them off in SA and brought most of the tech here.
Why hasn’t the world gone after the Japanese war criminals with the same sense of justice and vengeance as it has with the Germans?

I’ve read about the atrocities committed by Stalin, Mao and others quite a few times along with seeing documentaries about them. Many of today’s students are not exposed to history about the Nazi atrocities or the other atrocities.
Imagine a specific attempt to exterminate all Christians on the planet or to exterminate all east Asians or sub-Saharan people as designated by race. That was the difference between what the Nazis tried to do and what communist tyrants did to political subgroups of their own people.

And to take it a step further, how about condemning the UN and the allied powers who were aware of the holocaust two and a half years before it was finally revealed?
As early as December 1942, the US, UK and Soviet governments were aware that at least two million Jews had been murdered and a further five million were at risk of being killed, and were preparing charges. Despite this, the Allied Powers did very little to try and rescue or provide sanctuary to those in mortal danger.

Who was she supposed to complain to?
